I smoke every day and spend like 40 dollars a week . and ive been smoking heavy for like 6 monthsStay away from it and people who do smoke it..The best chance in quitting is to find a job that drug tests you so your not temped to smoke anymore.Get caught with it on you. Jail cures all drug habits.I just stopped. I-d only smoked heavy for probably 6 months also. But it was ruining my short term memory and just made me anti-social.
Umm, You just have to quit cold turkey. Try and stay away from people who smoke it. Don-t give into buying it

i often find i want to smoke because i-m bored, After I quit, the people I used to hang out still smoked and they got sooo boring to me! Do something fun make your life exciting!!Quit and deal with the withdrawls.If you are only spending $40/week on marijuana you are definitely not a heavy smoker, unless you are only paying for 10% of your weed. Just relax and enjoy the buzz. The amount you are spending is normal for anyone who buys pot. Its not addictive so just stop if you want to.First of all, you have to REALLY want to stop.
*Check out online meetings for marijuana anonymous (like alcoholics anonymous.)
*find a self improvement or addiction recovery group on meetup.com
*enroll in outpatient or inpatient chemical dependency treatment program
*educate yourself about the consequences of marijuana use, and natural approaches to detoxing (exercise, cranberry juice, etc.)
*ask your friends/family members for support, turnover all of your cash to someone who you trust, having them go with you when you need to buy food and other necessities.
*move to an oxford house for structure, support and to live in a marijuana-free environment that includes accountability
*stay away from people, places and things that are connected to your marijuana use - especially people who you smoke with
*Find a certified addictions counselor (CAC)-
*Ask your doctor for help
*Start cutting down, i.e. only smoke between 5pm and 10pm, or only smoke on Fri-Sun, or decrease by 10% each week until you have eliminated use
*DON-T TRY TO DO IT ON YOUR OWN - IT-S A SET-UP FOR FAILURE. GET OUTSIDE HELP, AND DO WHAT YOU ARE TOLD TO DO.
Good Luck!!!ok i know all about this just trust me. you can stop its you telling your self you need it and it really wont cause no withdrwal symptoms and you just have to be dedicated.Its nothing like other drugs you wont draw up in the floor and go crazy over not havin the green but for the other you might just do it.... u might bite your nailsslow down, start only smoking once a day, and then cut down to every other day...and so on, eventually you will just stop smoking it...also keep active as much as possibleYou CAN quit smoking!

Find something else to do with that time you normally spend high
It-s a mental addiction, not physical. NO withdraw symptoms other than not knowing what to do when you-re not high.
