Do cancer patients know how important it is to quit smoking? -
I-ve had cancer myself (8 years ago, lymphoma) and have seen many cancer patients come and go during that time (I think you know what I mean by -go.-)I-ve never seen a cancer patient who refused to quit smoking beat cancer - NOT EVEN ONCE!!! Didn-t matter how good their Doc was, didn-t matter what hospital they were in, didn-t matter what therapy they got...NOTHING!
If you are getting treated for cancer you need to stop smoking - period!!!
Look how healthy and fit Patrick Swayze is - he didnt- stop smoking - he is going to die.
Think about it!PFFFT!! They all know they gotta stop, they-re just too lazy to stop. My grnadfather smoked since he was 18. He get bad lung cancer and he smoked all throughout his treatment. He diedThe problem is, smoking is addicting. And people often want to quit smoking but they want to smoke at the same time.
To answer your question, yes i do believe they know they should stop. But they just cant. They expect the doctors to fix them right up how ever ****** up their bodies could be . . .
