Have you tried champix to stop smoking? -
i have been given champix by my doctor and i suffer graves disease which causes palpitations, has anyone taken champix with little side effects as i always worry about taking tablets because of this.It-s Champix in Canada.Cigarette smoking is more dangerous than Champix to you in terms of aggravating Graves Disease. Talk to a pharmacist before you fill the prescription and pay for it. Pharmacists are the experts on medications and they are very helpful.
I have seen more confirmed smokers quit on Champix than any other pharmaceutical smoking cessation product, and I mean smokers who have smoked for 40+ years. The ones who haven-t succeeded have told me they simply were not ready to quit.
Good luck, it-s a good medication.I personally don-t trust any quit smoking method that deals only with physical nicotine addiction. Chantix especially because it is potentially dangerous also. I personally wouldn-t go near the stuff. Some of the side effects I have heard include, headaches, nausea, stomach pains and the most frequent side effect, nightmares.
I am not trying to scare you, I just think you should do a lot of research before you pop any of those pills.
Smoking is more of a psychological addiction than a physical one. If you really want to quit you must discover the reasons why you smoke and then eliminate or change these thought processes. As soon as I dealt with my psychological reasons for smoking I quit, first time and more importantly for good.

You can also download our free book -36 Powerful Superfoods- to help fight weight gain and start mending damage caused by smoking.It-s Chantix, first of all, and smoking is a way worse medicine than Chantix would. You might want to look up the side effects to cigarettes, and then Chantix.
Chantix does not cause death, even if you do have a 785.1 on the ICD 9.i smoked for 24 years (pack a day) and couldnt believe this wonderful medication that the doctor gave me - i have completed the 3 months on champix (yes champix, called this in every country except in the U.S they call it chantix!) this is my 2nd week off it, and i have not had a cig for over 3 months! to me the side effects were - nausia, this would occur just after swollowing the pill if i didnt have it with food, and bizarre dreams that you remember very clearly, i did get moody (but i am a moody person anyway)
i think champix improved my health 100% and for that - how bad can it be! you have to out weigh the pros and cons - smoking will kill you!
Good luck it is a long and stressful journey - but one that is well worth it! (i could feel benefits after just 2 weeks of not smoking)
