My husband wants to stop smoking and chewing but has had a hard time in the past... he wants to try commit... how well do they work? how expensive can they get? are they very addictive? and do they really help your craving? we do not want to waste money on something that does not work!I started using the Commit Lozenges a few weeks ago, and it has really helped with cigarette cravings. I-ve tried the gum, patches, etc..and the lozenges are the first to work for me. I smoked over a pack a day for 8 years, and now haven-t had a smoke for 2 weeks.They are kind of expensive, but i-ve heard the Walgreens store brand is just as effective. As far as how addictive they are, I won-t know for sure until i try to stop taking them. I read online that a lot of people have had problems becoming addicted to the lozenges, as well as problems with gas and tooth decay. I haven-t experienced any of these side effects, but maybe its too soon to tell! Good luck to your husband....hope this helped!
