i started about 6 months ago and now am doing it almost everyday help me!Marijuana is not addicting. You just don-t WANT to stop. C-mon! Get strong! Make up your mind to stop and just do it! You might just see that a natural high is pretty cool. Besides, who wants throat, mouth, or lung cancer?! You don-t think it could happen to you, but you could completely lose the ability to speak. Just stop, OK? -LLTry talking to your school nurse, guidance counselor or general physician. If money is an issue, ask those sources about free walk-in clinics. (A town of 4,000 people near me has one, so you-re probably near one.)Due to the apparent lack of pride, you may want to make sure the sources guarantee confidentiality. Doctors are required to follow the federal Health Information Protection and Accountability Act (HIPAA), which strictly prohibit them from providing ANY information about you. I-m not certain if HIPAA is this strict with minors. A recent ballot measure in Oregon attempted to overrule HIPAA in the event of pregnancy.
BEWARE: Many states have exceptions to confidentiality laws, such as imminent danger to a minor. Be sure to inquire about that before disclosing your issue.
Also, you may need to miss a few days of school. If you want, you can tell your teacher(s) that you were sick (-It must have been something I had for lunch- might work on your parents.) Be sure to keep up on your homework.
If you have fears about being arrested for MIP/drug use, tell people that you want to prevent yourself from using weed. Tell people what-s happened, but claim it-s only a nightmare. Most people would be willing to help, even if they suspect it-s not -only a nightmare-.
Regardless of what happens, please spread the word. You got a lot of people who you don-t know worried about you.
