Replace your cravings. i.e. eat chocolate instead.Or get help from NHS.I got tired of it and quite. I worked my way down until I was only having one a day, when I got home from work. Then I just stopped. I think the biggest part of quitting is truly being mentally prepared to do it. Even though there is the physical dependence aspect, I think that the habitual part is the hardest to change. You get used to having one after meals, or with a beer, or when you get in the car. If you can change those habits, it goes much easier.Cold turkey on set day, chewed nicotine gum for three months and never looked back. Been two years now and I breathe MUCH better, food tastes great, and I even squashed a dropped half pack of smokes recently(then, I tossed it in the trash).Had an awful cold when I was 25 years of age and when I was better and tried to have a smoke it tasted like I was smoking wood and I chucked the fag and the packet away. I have not smoked since.Step 1-stop buying cigarettes
Step 2
Step 3-ProfitAs somebody once quoted
Leave an infinitely long period between your last ciggy and the next.
Good luck with that.
