How can I get my parents to stop smoking? -
I-m 15 years old, my brothers are 17 and 26. My 26 year old brother has 2 kids, but he rarely lets us babysit because my parents smoke in the house. I can-t stand the stench of cigarette smoke. I-ve tried talking to them about it, explaining how it makes my breathing hard and how that-s the reason why I always stay in the back room playing my Xbox all day. Every time I take a car trip with them, I always end up smelling like cigarettes (which my friend pointed out to me one day).I-ve asked them to at least smoke outside if they won-t quit smoking, and they do for about a week. I don-t know what-s worse, the fact that my entire house smells like an ashtray, or the fact that I can-t notice it because I-m so used to it. It-s like they don-t understand the harm they-re causing my brother and me. What can I do?What do they say when you talk to them about it? They should realize that everytime they light a cigarette they-re ruining their lungs even more. Maybe ask them why they started smoking in the first place, and see if you can resolve it that way. Talk about it with a school councilor or something maybe. Im no pro, but hope this helps!Get your parents to buy an electronic cigarette. There is no smoke, tar, or tobacco. There are many vendors who sell different brands. Tell them about this website.

Have them look around. Tell them that it-s a better way of smoking. They still get their nicotine but, with out the tar, ash, tobacco, and smoke.
