I need to stop because i can feel a toll being brought upon my body. I have smoked for 2 years but in the past year I have been smoking 2-4 grams a day. I have grown dependent on the weed. Every single second of my days is spent high. My body seemed to just get used to it. I can do everything better high my self confidence is so much better. It just seems ever since I have started is when i have had best memories and i don-t want to lose those times. The problem is I cant be sober it makes me really sick and depressed longer than 6 hours and i cant stand it. The other day i had to go somewhere with parents for weekend and wasn-t able to bring any. i felt i was gonna die just couldn-t stand it the entire time all i could think about was smoking. how do i quit when the cure is so simple?go to church ask for help man just choose not to and when u feel like smoking eat chocolateCall 1-800-861-6864. Narcotics Abuse referral Service and Treatment Programs. 24/7. They don-t know you or want to. Quitting cold turkey can be dangerous, I know. Your family Dr. could help with Valium, ativan, librium etc. to help you over the first few days, the rest is up to you. A local N.A. chapter (like A.A. for toke rs - shooters) will help, they-ve all been where you are or worse. The A is for anonymous, and they mean it.If you literally become sick and depressed when you are sober, I would consider getting counseling. It-s not as bad as you think. You will be thankful later on in life.I know people that say this drug isn-t addictive, that the addiction is just in your head. Guess they-re wrong, huh?Weed can be hard to quit isn-t it.I hear ya man, I smoke about 1 - 2 grams a day, and although I-m not high all day, I am everyday after class, which is usually 1 pm. If I do not start smoking by about 6pm, I start to get very ornery and depressed like you. THC evens me out. If I was you, as you do have a dependence, and do not want to miss out on the fun of smoking, I guess a good baby step would be to only smoke say after 4 pm, then in a couple weeks change it to 6, then 8 then 10, then once a day, then every other...etc, until you finally quit and/or only smoke for special parties.
