Smoking cigarettes in winter, freezes lungs? -

some guy who thinks he knows everything told me that i should stop smoking cigs outside in the winter..because it -freezes your lungs.- is this true at all? is there any different effects on your lungs from smoking outside in the winter time?

please, dont tell me to stop smoking. im just looking for an answer. thanks!Sounds physically backwards. Cigarette smoke is several times hotter than regular air, which is why they are so much better in the winter. If anything, they wont freeze your lungs. They won-t exactly warm you up, either, though. The smoke reduces circulation to extremities, making your fingers and toes get cold faster.I-ve heard that menthol cigarettes crystalize your lungs, but I-ve never heard of your lungs freezing from smoking outside in the winter. I-ve also heard that if a woman smokes for too long, her voice will start sounding like a man-s voice. And that their skin turns yellow from all the nasty tar seeping through the body. Smoking is such a gross habit.it won-t freeze your lungs. But it-s bad for you as I-m sure you already know :)

I-m sure he-s just telling you that to get you to quit. If you don-t want to then don-t but I-m guessing that-s probably his only reason. Or he could just be a dickThat-s nonsense. Keep on smoking. Seems like people are always trying to scare smokers about the health risks one way or another.No. It-s not true. He-s just messing with you.
