Can someone give me good advise for stopping smoking? -

l live in england(west midlands) has anybody stopped by using a doctors clinic,would love to talk about my problem because it is getting me down l would love more childrenYes! Go to a website called WHYQUIT.COM I smoked for over ten years and I really wasn-t even ready to quit. I met someone who was a smoker and he had used that website and shared it with me. It is not easy; I tried gum, celery, chewing on straws, everything...you have to WANT to quit. Go to the website and read it!!! It is true and inspiring and helpful!

Best of luckI heard peppermint candy works really good.I quit everytime I-m pregnant. I-ve used several techniques. I-m glad she said peppermints b/c I-ve bought those really strong mints and had one everytime I had a craving. It really worked for me (but then again I-m allergic to peppermint and it made me sneeze, sort of like punishment lololol)
It-s also a good idea to figure out when you have cravings and try to change your pattern.
Try chewing gum when you have a craving it helps too or find something else to do to get your mind off of it. Have a reason why you want to quit smoking. You have to ask yourself, why am I smoking? Why did I start smoking? Why should I quit smoking? Do you know anybody else who wants to quit smoking? If so, be accountable to them.I quit smoking 2 years ago, no doctors or pills. It really is a question of mind over matter. Once you decide you truly want to quit it will be much easier. Identify when you smoke. ie: driving, after dinner, whenever. Then try to fill in the time with something until your craving passes. Do not take cigarettes with you in the car if driving is your weak time. A craving only lasts 3-4 minutes. Chew gum or drink water until it passes. Good luck!JUST QUIT!!!
