I am 16 weeks off smoking cannobis amp; i am now attempting to stop smoking altogether? -

What are the best ways of letting go of the old habit?good for u.....groups,support from family and friends check out somtin online that wuld suit u.it may b hard but neva give upquitternot sure but good luck i quit pot 4 months ago since then i smoke more cigarettesChew gum. I found the only way to quit was cold turkey. I still miss it sometimes, but then I just try to think of something else and occupy my mouth with gum.Good job, man! Just set some goals for yourself, like small goals leading up to a big goal, and put all your energy into getting those things done. You won-t have time to worry about dumb ol- Mary Jane! Did you ever see -A Beautiful Mind-? That guy actually saw and experienced people who were not there, figments of his imagination - but once he realized what they were and how they were harming his abilities to do something useful he made himself ignore them and stay on the track he decided he wanted to follow. Weed can almost be a personality like that, an old friend calling you to come hang out. You chose to quit for your own reasons. Stay true to your desires and don-t let that old hag drag you around. Peace out.Avoid your old triggers and chew gum

Does your short term memory recovers when you stop smoking weed? -

After like intense 4-5 years (don`t remeber axactly...;-)Mine did after 33 years it starts recovering in about 4 days and now I remember all kinds of useless crap.RECOVER?
It would depend on the length of time that you indulged.
Weed as you call it does damage to brain cells, the longer you smoke it. At first it-s not noticable but as time goes by it becomes harder and harder to remember things that happened a short while ago. Alcoholics also get this and the disease is called Korsakoffs Syndrome. There is no recovery for this Alzheimers like problem.
Many who are weed heads earned the name -Space Cadet- because that is all they have between the ears .....space!

The word -Dope- also applies to the users of this substance for a good reason.Depending on how -intense- the use was, short term memory should be able to fully or almost fully recover within one month after stopping use. With moderate to low use, marijuana does not have permanent effects (and actually serves as a sort of neuro-protectant).Dont know....never quitYeah, no problem, I smoked weed for many years, and then when I quit I...uhhh...what was the question again?
