How can I stop smoking weed... Can a Nicotine patch work??? -

Because cannabis changes the way you think and for yourself can create a relaxing and rather enjoyable experience, it is more pyscologically addictive. If you enjoy doing something, why stop? That-s what your mind tells you. However the right thing to do is not smoke cannabis as the negatives outweigh the positives.

The best thing to do is not associate with people who smoke cannabis. If your close friends smoke it, then try not associating with them at times they smoke it, so you don-t have to lose friends through the process. This can be hard at first, but if you find something else to occupy your mind like games, exercise, work, etc., it can make the whole process so much easier.

Good luck and your already on the path to success by going out of your way to express your desire to quit. I hope my advise is benefitial.

p.s. Nicotine patches will not help you with withdrawing from cannabis, however if you smoke cannabis along-side nicotine, then a nicotine patch may help you with a nicotine addiction and in turn help you quit cannabis.*If* you-re physically addicted to marijuana, nicotine can help wean you off it, but you will likely become addicted to the nicotine instead. That at least is what I-ve seen in friends who switched from pot to cigs. In any case, the patches would probably make you sick if you don-t smoke cigs -- too heavy a dose.Weed doesn-t have nicotine in it. Marijuana isn-t as addicting as cigarrettes because THERE-S NO NICOTINE. But the person above me is right: will power. Just think that you-re saving money and your health. Do something productive like get a job or exercise to get your mind off it.lol..um, no the patch won-t work. And you can stop buying it..stop hanging around the people who you get it from, and stop inhaling! duh!will power and not associating with people that smoke it or provide it too u

How do I get my mother to stop smoking in the house? -

How do I get my mother to stop smoking in the house? -

First I have to start off with both my mother and I are on the mortgage, but my boyfriend and I pay for the home.We all smoked in the home until this past Sept when I found out I was pregnant. Both my boyfriend and I quit, and my mother was told to smoke outside (the smell made me sick) She smoked outside for a while but by winter she stopped all together.I have told her about the smoking in the home but she think cause she smokes in HER room it-s ok. Well now the baby is here, she will smoke outside during the day. But by 5pm she starts to smoke in her room again. The whole house smells and I can-t get her to stop. It-s just down right rude of her, she knows the house smells and the baby is breathing in that smokey air. Does any one know how I can handle this legally? Selling the home or buying my mother out is not an option at this time..Unless your mother just recently started smoking, it didn-t harm you any growing up. Your child will be fine too. If you let it. We have enough paranoia in the world already. It has to stop somewhere.trying to convince your mum its better to have your boyfriends name on the mortgaga so she can spend her old age in freedom and move out and let your baby, her grandchild NOT be a victim of second-hand smoke cancer and other serious conditions,She has to know SHE is a risk for his health, why not try to have some family-doc come over and talk some sense into your mother, your mum sound like a selfish ***** to me and your kid is better off without herEncourage her to smoke outside your fence. Second hand smoke is harmful for her Grand child.Take her with you to the baby-s doctor.
She needs to be convinced of the harm she could be doing to her grandchild.

Why is there no choice about about the home arraingment? If she is not paying the mortgage, but you are, then you can certainly look at options (some good, some bad) that will change the situation.

Is the health of your child less important than your credit rating?
