Stopping smoking.!!!? -
both myself and my husband have decided to stop smoking tomorrow.im dredding it.we have two kids and this will benefit them also because even though we dont smoke round them we do spend alot of time saying.-just let us nip outside then we will do it-.i really enjoy cigarettes so i no its gonna be hard.can people just put some reasons that will give me a wake up call as to why i should stop because i need to do this.we are both in our early 30,s.i just wish they were not unhealthy.advice please.xYou said it yourself...they-re unhealthy. Heart disease and cancer are big killers. Not only will your kids be healthier, they-re also be happier because their parents will be around longer. You are right to ask for a boost. You got to *want* to quit before you can. Myself, I had a pack of about 7 cigarettes left over when I decided to quit. I kept them right on the computer. Every time, I wanted one, I would tell myself, -go ahead stupid. There they are. Go for it.- I beat it and it-s a rare moment now when I crave one. 12 years of not smoking has saved me litterally thousands of dollars. Cheaper life and/or health insurance rates, medical bills, and the cost of the cigarettes themselves would have be at least $12,000. Good luck and tell those cigarettes, you-re bigger than they are.Just think, of you being able to see your children grow up.You may be only 30. But my uncle used to smoke and by the time he was 32 he was diagnosed with emphysema.
He could not play games like football and stuff with his kids because he did not have enough breath.
Smoking is fun, I occasionally smoke.
But I-m 17.
I don-t have to worry about children (yet)
You on the other hand have kids.
think of all the neat toys you could get them with the money you will save.
All the running around you can do with the energy.
And the extra 10 years you will claim back when you quit.
Those 10 years could mean seeing your grandchildren getting married.
Don-t miss that opportunity for a cigarette.Try to get more information regarding some ways to stop smoking at my profile.i support you.eat some sugar instead of smoking.
http://chinaimportexport.wikispaces.com/My wakeup call came when my 2 year old daughter grabbed a book and a pack of smokes and said she was going to go outside just like mommy (I would sit outside and read and smoke). I did not want her to think smoking was okay. I feel so much better now that I have quit (3 years in march). I can breath better, I don-t get sick as often, and it-s nice not smelling all the time. I can use perfume or wash my hair with something that smells good and still smell it later in the day. Plus there are all sorts of good smelling dryer sheets that make my clothes smell so good all day, instead of like smoke. You don-t realize how smelly you are until you quit. Good luck. It-s not easy but you can do it!
