If so, did you find it any good? i bought it ages ago but still havent started to read it. i will in time i know but i dont want to get throught the whole book and then find i am still a smoker.I read the book and I found it absolutely excellent. I think you need to take it quite seriously when you read it, even if it-s not the type of thing you are used to.
It works by telling you things you already know and giving you the mental tools to convince your own mind that you are not smoking any more. It-s a sort of self-hypnosis.
The book I read (there are different versions) only took about two hours to read cover-to-cover and I carried on smoking whilst reading the book. However, when I-d finished reading I tore up my leftover cigs (about 12 of them) and that was that - I had stopped smoking.
I think that the only reason you would still be a smoker at the end of the book was if you had not taken on board all the things he-s told you, but even so it-s worth giving it a go because even if it doesn-t work, the book has only cost you less than the price of two packs of twenty.
Good lucki have read all his books they are fanatasic.get focused on what you wanna achieve.set aside a long time to read book.its the kind you dont wanna put down.smoke all time you read.really listen to book.dont skip any pages.at end the choice is yours.never give up.reread if you fail.never ever light up is his advice when you pack in.good luck .alan has help so many people.it worked for me.Champix is the way to go!Has anyone read Allen Carrs book to help women stop smoking? -

I can give you some tips, they are not in any order, just things that help...
1. Find a new interest to keep you occupied
2.start doing some form of daily exercise, swimming, gym, cycling or something like that, it will help you to feel fit healthy much quicker which gives you a real psychological boost
3.Always remember why you quit in the 1st place
4.Always remember you cannot have even a single puff because 1 will lead to 2 n 2 will lead to 3 n so on, then before you know it your back to square 1
5. Be proud of yourself
6. Remind yourself of all the nasty things about smoking, I can now smell a person smoking from 200 yardsBe conscious of your need for nicotine, the patch works great in the beginning it will curb your minds hunger for a smoke. Follow the directions on the box. It is also helpful to engage yourself in a healthy activity every time you feel the urge to light. So instead of lighting up, go for a walk, drop to the floor and do as many push ups as you can. Invite friends and co workers to help you out, keep your mind focused on not smoking. You are your best advocate. All the products work if you really want them to. But if you give in and have even one drag off a cigarette, you-ve lost. Good luckBeing a non smoker and have never tried it in my life, it is quite hard to understand how hard it must be to give up. I know friends that have done it and the best thing to do is to keep busy, especially your hands (oer missus)!! No, seriously, do something that keeps your mind occupied and chew gum when ever you feel the urge to smoke. I think its a good idea to focus on buying something for yourself, save the money you would spend on packets of fags and when you have reached that target, you will have something nice to buy and to show for the money! Not being funny but join a gym or go walking as ive heard that when you give up, the weight may creep back on! Good luck xPersonally I think that once your really want to quit...your best bet is to throw away any cigarettes or loose tobacco you have and throw them away. But much it into the grabage so that you won-t be able to rescue it if you have a sudden change of heart...then just quit cold turkey. I did this. I smoked my last cigarette that night....threw out my tobacco and smokes (mushed them into the garbage...it was kindof therapeutic) and I haven-t had a smoke for 8 and 1/2 years. Replace your craving with drinking ice water. Stop doing things that you really enjoyed smoking while doing (i.e. going for coffee) and try to replace the cigarette with something else (like that afeter meal smoke...try going fo a walk instead). Once you have quit for awhile and feel good then you can start doing those things again because you will be less likely to break down and cheat. Quiting is a lot about breaking the habits that we form while smoking...not so much the smoking itself. It-s hard but you will feel so much better...as will the people around you. Just make up your mind to do it. Mind over matter. Good Luck.
PS some people think cold turkey is not good but is worked for me and my husband. You could also try those patches. I-ve heard they work for some but I personally think that once you make up your mind to quite...you can do anything.I read the book -The Easy Way to Stop Smoking- by Allen Carr. Its the best thing I ever did!! It deals with all the issues, but the biggest is that you will never crave cigarettes again. I smoked Marlboro Reds for years. I read the book in one day and never smoked again. Check out theeasywaytostopsmoking.com. The book is about $15 and you can find it in most book stores. There is no need to do anything else.1. YOU make the Choice 2. Don-t mess around with over the counter products,Im trying to stop smoking. What is the best way to stop smoking for good. Please help.? -

I found accupuncture diagram on ask.comNOT something you want to try and do yourself. Acupuncture is a very precise art and should only be done by a trained professional. Please contact an acupuncturist near you.I would try hypnosis first before you start poking around on your ear.Looking for diagram of accupuncture ear points to stop smoking/loose weight? -
