Chantix does work great. It-s an excellent new method to stop smoking and works much better than patches / gum etc.
For more information about Chantix, please click the following link:

I still had urges to smoke but Chantix makes it alot easier to deal with. You still have to be determined to quit. Its really up to the individual. I quit on 12/25/06 wth the help of Chantix.I-m no longer taking it and I still haven-t smoked.
If your detemined to quit it will happen. good luck!!It has only been a little over a month since I stopped smoking using Chantix, this stuff works better than anything I have done before.
So far, this has really worked..but I have to stress that it is still not easy...you do have to want to quit. Chantix really reduced the cravings and the desire, and minimized the withdrawal symptoms. I try and stay away from the places I used to smoke, but I did go to a retirement party the other day and had a cocktail, no real desire to smoke with it so I felt good about that.
So to answer your question, I think Chantix does work, but as with any thing you do to quit a habit, you need to be ready and committed to quitting as well.
I breathe better, don-t wheeze or cough all the time, and the other morning I smelled the coffee as it was brewing in the kitchen...I can not tell you the last time I smelled that...and it was incredible!
I wish you the best of luckHas anyone stopped smoking with that new pill called chantix? I hear it works great, and I want to stop.? -
How are the effects of smoking salvia? -
How are the effects of smoking salvia? -
I stopped smoking marijuana for moral reasons (it-s illegal) almost 10 years ago. I almost never drink or do any drugs, but I can-t seem to find anything that-s relaxing. I don-t drink cause the calories are too high, I workout a good deal but that isn-t a stress reliever for me. I don-t like pharmecuticals (spelling?) but I-ve heard vaguely about salvia.
Just want to know how good/bad are the effects of smoking it. Please only answer if you-ve tried it or know someone who has.
ThanksIf you-re looking for a stress reliever similar to marijuana, salvia is not it. Salvia is a very unique drug, but its effects can be compared to lsd, with small but noticeable bodily effects and mental distortions present at low doses/concentrations, and full blown out of body trips when a lot of salvia is smoked or you smoke the highly concentrated extracts. If you-re looking for a relaxant you-re more likely to be happy with a plant like Kratom or Kanna both of which are perfectly legal to buy, sell, and use. A good list of legal, natural, highs and their effects can be found at www.erowid.org in the Plants section.

it takes u on a 5 minute trip and its amazing. you just keep laughing and laughing and laughing. not the same as pot tho.Salvia can sometimes make you a little jittery other times it can chill you out.
I wouldn-t recommend it as a substitue for marijuana. If you smoke enough salvia you can have halucinations, but either way the effects don-t last more than 10 minutes.
I think the effects of smoking salvia are comparable to smoking marijuana health wise (except the memory loss).
You sound like a high strung type of person. I feel the same way all the time. I workout pretty often to relieve stress, but (depending on the level) it could be back in a couple of hours or the next day. Although, I do smoke weed. I honestly believe without it I would probably go apesh*t on some random person that crosses me in the wrong way.
If I were you I would just smoke a bowl when not feeling so relaxed.Salvia sucks and isn-t not a substitute for marijuana. It made my body feel weird and did nothing for my mental state. It doesn-t last long either. A poor substitute.I tried it and nothing happend. I felt a little weird but it was definatly a waste of money. I-m still really mad that I wasted my money on that.....I-ll be researching salvia for my own purposes, but for the time being, I encourage you to rethink your impression of morality. Morality is formed by integration of thoughts and perceptions, not by inherently appealing to the wishes of another. If controled with moderation and if you are psycologically and physically comfortable with doing so, spark up baby! FYI, pot and booze went on prohibition at the same time; only one of these two came off because it was held to hold more potential for creating revenue...How are the effects of smoking salvia? -
