I stopped smoking cannabis a week ago after doing it for about 3 months (i know it doesn-t sound long) and ever since then, i still feel a tiny bit stoned all the time and sometimes i feel like i-m in a dream world.....
Will this feeling pass after a month or so? Or will i be stuck with it for life, i-m worried, HELPI thought you felt like that smoking cannabisIt will pass in time; cannabis is like any other substance - if you withdraw it suddenly after a period of regular use, you will notice a difference.
Three months of use is not, IMO, long enugh to trigger a serious problem, though it does sound like cannabis probably isn-t for you, so good for you for being sensible enough to quit. Too many people just press on, and wind up making themselves ill, which does nothing to help the decrim campaign..everyone is so stupid,they act like mary j is so bad,your body is flushing out toxins and you might have slight witdrawals,other than that u will be fine,as for me 420 4 lifeFirst let me congratulate you on your decision to stop putting any kind of drug into your body, as you must know, any drug will take a while to completely leave your system,so just give it time, please don`t be tempted to restart, you do not know if you would be one of these people that has an addictive nature and be likely to progress to other stronger drugs, all of these really sad people that have their lives ruined by drugs also started by using the lesser ones. Chris.it-ll die down the longer you go clean. just withdrawral symptoms and such, whch continue for a while because your brain has been used to the influx of cannabis. should go quite soon. just dont go back to doing it.I-m not sure, but grats on quitting! Hes addicted to it. He cant stop. Im really worried that he wont be able to have kids in the future and hes already going loopy! Hes got paranoia and panick attacks. I have ended my 16-year smoking habit a week or so ago and I feel great. As a motivator to stop smoking, I have been involved in a very intense exercise regimen for several months. I have noticed that since I have stopped smoking, it is more difficult to breathe and I get short of breath sooner in my workout. I do have an inhaler to use, but don-t want to go that route quite yet. I would appreciate any advice on this matter. Thank you!You haven-t been off of the cigarettes long enough yet for your lungs to clear up. It will happen but will take a little time. You can-t smoke for 16 years and expect them to be back to normal in a couple of weeks.
The strenuous exercise regimen may not be good until a little more time has passed. Maybe you could ease up on the severity of it or stop it for a month or so. In the meantime, take deep breath exercises to help get your lung capacity back. Check with your gym coach if you want to get another opinion.
Congratulations on the fact that you gave up smoking. That alone was a huge step. Be very proud of yourself. Your body is on the road to complete recovery.Just give it time, your lungs will eventually start to open up more, and you won-t get short on breath anymore. it is expected that you-ll be short of breath after more than a decade of nicotine. don-t worry, its just a phase. Before getting in to any rigorous work out, there are breathing exercises to help you inhale and exhale air properly. Once you learn the proper way of breathing, it should be beneficial especially when you are into intense exercise regimen as mentioned.
and you-re right, don-t depend on inhalers.

Right i work in a bar, infact im the landlord and have tried stopping smoking a couple of times, the thing that gets me is most of my customers smoke which doesnt help, other than banning smoking in my pub which i cant do cos id lose a hell of a lot of trade wot can i do to quit this filthy habit. Also i work long hours and dont have time 2 exercise properly anymore, my pecs are getting a bit on the fat side and would love 2 know sum quick exercises to stop me from getting the dreaded -moobs-!!Its not just the nicotine. Its also the other 50+ chemicals they out in cigarettes. Also the main problem is habit.
We have been used to having body sensations which we translate as -my body needs something, which we have attempted to satisfy by having a cigarette.
When we try to stop smoking, we still get these -my body needs something- sensations, and we still feel that we want a cigarette. We have to train our body to be more selective. When we feel we need something, we have to work out what it is that we actually need.
A glass of water is an excellent substitute if nothing else comes to mind, as it helps with the clearance of the toxic substances in our body. Another good substitute is a bag of salted peanuts, used in combination with the water.
Another thing to do is to find an activity which occupies the mind or body. Go swimming - nobody wants to smoke while they are swimming. Slowly, as our body adjusts and translates the -want something- feelings into something other than cigarettes, then the feelings begin to go away. We know its not a cigarette that the body really needs, because as soon as we-ve had one we still have the feeling, and want another!I gave up smoking in Jan and haven-t looked back. The only thing that worked for me was patches as you feel as though you-ve just had a cigarette all the time. Don-t get too confident though and promote yourself to lower strength ones earlier than they say as this is how most people get caught out. Just do exactly what it says on the pack and you-ll be fine.

My parents give it to me and i stopped smoking for about 2 months (i used to smoke heavily) , but in the past 2 weeks ive smoked twice already.
The last time i smoked was about 5 days ago, and i am getting a test by my parents either today or tomorrow.
Is it possible i would pass it anyways, or is it still in my system?
What are some tricks i can do to make sure it comes out negative, other than using someone elses urine?Well, you can be honest and tell your parents that you smoked and then you all can start getting passed it.
(By the way, if you live at home with your parents, then do what they ask and respect them and THEIR house. When you move out on your own, then do whatever the hell you want.)
The only other thing that may help is drinking a bottle of vinegar an hour or two before you take the test. The vinegar will void the test. Basically, it will show up as -negative- because the test will not recognize it as urine.Take some pride in your life and stop smoking. You MAY fool your parents for the time being, but in the future, you won-t be able to fool a polygraph when it comes time get that dream job (or any job, given today-s economy). I screen people everyday for various corporations and they don-t give even the most qualified applicants a second look if there-s any evidence of recent use. Drink an entire small bottle in tea. It will taste horrible. At home tests aren-t very sophisticated and it will not pick up on the Goldenseal.
Goldenseal will cover the THC in your urine... although one day isn-t very good notice.
The only really reliable way is to use someone else-s urine. However, Goldenseal is your second best bet.
