Just stop. I know it can be hard, because I had an ex boyfriend who could not stop no matter how hard he tried, even though they say it is not addiciting, you can get addicted to the feelings you recieve from it. The only thing other then a detox program (which still may not help) is just stopping. Stop hanging with the people who you get it from, and thing about how much money you will save by not having to pay for the habit, as well as the possibility of going to jail. Find new friends, new hobbies, etc to keep yourself away from the drug.Just stop. It-s not very addictive, so you-re unlikely to have signficant withdrawl symptoms. The best way is to avoid temptation, so try not to hang out with other people while they-re smoking, and get rid of what you have around (and don-t buy more). When you have some time off from school or work, you might want to go out of town, to some place where there won-t be any weed available.don-t buy anymore and if you get it off of friends say no.
If that don-t work.....go to rehabPut it down.you have to WANT to... I decided to quit one day, and I did... I quit cold turkey... no withdrawl, physical or psychologcial... and I used to smoke all day every day... except at work...
the key is why are you quiting? do you WANT to, or are you being pressured to? Adiction is purely psychological, and marijuana does not cause a chemical dependancy (aka Physical Adiction)go cold turkey it works best. and stay away from anyone else who has it so it doesn-t tempt you . it-s hard but you gotta be strong.if your strong and you believe you can do it then you can

They work fantastic!! They don-t put nicotine into your body like the patches do so i found the weaning off period much easier. also they don-t make you want to eat all the time so i didn-t put any weight on! Good luckI found zyban really good at the stopping smoking part, however, do be careful if you have ever had any kind of depressive illness, as they certainly had a depressive side effect for me, so much so that I stopped taking them, (and consequently started smoking again)I know someone who stopped with Zyban, don-t take 20 a day though you-ll just end up killing yourselfMy dad has tried Champix with no luck. He managed to stop for three weeks but they began making him feel really sick so he had to stop. My tutor at college said they gave her a nasty taste in her mouth and she couldn-t eat anything for about two weeks. I-ve also heard that they were causing a lot of suicides as well. Not good news, is it sweetie? There are successes though so do a bit of research first and it-s always worth having a go at them. You-ll never know utnil you try :)I started champix in Oct07 was doing really well, felt a bit sick sometimes but took it after food - was o.k. I didn-t even think about having a cig even though my hubby - son were smoking in the house. Then on the nineth week I got very dizzy to the extent I couldn-t stand - gp took me off them I manage to stay off them and felt so much better, but started again on new years eve after having a few glasses of wine!!
They will react differently for you as our bodies are all different but I-d give it ago.Take Carego joggging as much as possible. at least three times a week. when you are out of breath it will make you want to quit even more and knowing the fact that you are getting in shape will help you mentally as wellyes they were great packed in over 5 months ago and havnt had or wanted one sinceI stopped smoking but I-m now on 20 Zyban a day.
Seriously, everything is useless without seriously wanting to stop and having willpower.
I tried Zyban about 4 or 5 years ago and found them very good. They work OK but people are useing them wrong. What you have to do is to hold them betwwen your teeth and not swallow them.I tries patches. They worked really well, but unfortunately I am allergic to them. Then I used lozenges for a few day but they tasted disgusting so I had to rely on will power in the end.
16 months now. Don-t know about the new tablets...but anything is worth trying. Good luck.Has anyone tried the new stop smoking tablets. how did you get on and how did they work.? -
