I quit smoking in 1996 and I am no longer wheezing or coughing in the morning like I was before and my endurance has improved a lot. Your lung rebuilds and heals I have heard after 7 years it is almost as good as new again depending of course on how much you smoked.Basically the tar just settles in there. Your lungs can-t heal from that. What are you stupid?it gets blackIt will become healthier, but it helps to do cardiovascular excercise. That will help it faster. What do you think happens ???The more time you are not smoking the better it is for your body!!!it becomes healthierI heard that if you stop smoking for 15 yrs, it-s as if you never smoked at all.
