What do they put in the them to make you stop smoking? and would it be possible to add some sort of chemical to tobacco to strip it of all it-s badness...yes i said badness. =)anyways.
help will make me happy.What you can do is use a vaporiser. This instead of burning the tobacco and letting off deadly chemicals, it heats it at a safe temperture and leaves you with vapour. This is much much less of a deadly substance although is still slightly bad for you. They put nicotine in the patches and gum to make you stop smoking. Nicotine is the addictive substance in the tobacco.The gum and patches contain nicotine. They can be helpful, but you must really WANT to quit to quit smoking. If you really don-t WANT to quit, all the gum and patches in the world will NOT work.
Nothing can be ADDED to tobacco to make it less harmful. You can put a plastic filter onto the cigarette butt that will filter some of the -tar- in the cigarette that causes cancer, bronchitis and emphysema (COPD). But, it still won-t completely protect you from developing this.
I hope this helps. I-m trying to quit smoking now. I was just diagnosed with emphysema. There is NO cure for it and it is progressive until it kills you. If you smoke or know of anyone that does, please beg them to stop! I wish I would have listened to my family about quitting. I wouldn-t be going through this fear now and the frustration of quitting. It-s extremely hard to quit, but so easy to start. I wish they would make them illegal to buy!!!
