Stopped smoking? -
just read roxy-s resolved question on stopped smoking 2days ago.i stopped smoking3 week ago and my gums are now sore and bleeding too surely this isnt just coinsidence?I quit 7 months ago. I did have a sore mouth after I quit. I had a lot of mouth ulcers. Apparently this is an after-effect of quitting ( I remember looking it up somewhere!)
Use an antibacterial mouthwash, such as listerine, and if it doesn-t go, go and see your dentist for some advice.
If you are using nicotene gum or inhalator, change to another form of nicotene replacement, as they may be irritating your gums. No, thats the good sign.Did you smoke for a long time? if you did then you inffected your body! this is what happens becuase of smoking see your doctor their is medicine that helps you!Read this:

23% of non-smokers had sever gum desease, only 7% of smokers had it though. It may be a result of stopping, although I never had this when I stopped. However a trip to the dentist is best bet Even if it is related to stopping, a wash and brush up by the dentist will help freshen your mouth and get your taste buds working again. Congratulations on stopping .... keep it up ... its easy right ..
