I realy need to stop smoking But dont want to put on weightI-ve tried to quit about 8 times over the last two years with every single method you can think of! I-ve never gone longer than 2 weeks! And I-ve always gained at least half a stone. But I recently read Allen Carr, and started exercising more. If you already work out, you-ll be amazed at the difference in your fitness so much that you wont want to ruin it. and if you don-t work out, the exercise will give you such a buzz and you-ll feel so healthy that you wont want to ruin it by eating rubbish! Not sure if it-s the book, or the gym,but I-m just passed my second month and I-m loaded!!! Good luck!Ask your doctor to prescribe Champix (varenicline) it`s a new drug, I stopped by using it, removes craving and makes fags taste repulsive and sickening.Willpower.I quit 7 months ago and have not put on a pound.
Just eat a healthy balanced diet and exercise regularly.Don-t buy cigarettes!
DON-T OVER EAT!Chew on toothpicks, sugar free lollipops , discuss options with your doctor there are lots of stop smoking aids available now !Keep small pieces of bannana in a container and keep on eating one piece every half an hour and you will start disliking the tobacco smell.try eating lots of candies and replacing them with cigar...I am on day 8 of quitting with patches......
You do need alot of will power and I am still dying to have a ciggy but I won-t!
Try them they do work but only if you want them to!smoking cessation clinicPatches can help with the worst of the symptoms; but its all down to willpower. If you don-t want to gain weight then snack on fruit.
It-s probably better to put on a bit of weight than keep smoking. At least you can lose it afterwards.Maybe that-s just your excuse for NOT stopping!
