need help to stop could someone give me online links for free help.any would be gratefulwww.quitsmoking.comI used to smoke about two packs a day. Went cold turkey for about a year and every single minute was pure torture. Eventually, I started smoking again and figured I would just die a smoker because I couldn-t go cold turkey ever again. Some years later, a friend told me that she had once quit smoking by being hypnotized. I don-t know why, but when I heard her story, I just knew that would work for me. To make a long story short, I got hypnotized and never smoked another cig again. I never even felt the urge to smoke and it didn-t bother me to be around other people who were smoking. I told my girlfriend-s brother, who was also trying to quit, about it and he went too and stopped smoking. It was absolutely the best thing I ever did.
The American Lung Association has (or at least they did have) a hypnotist that traveled all over the country holding hypnosis seminars to make people quit. I didn-t go to one of them, but my friend-s brother did. It was inexpensive, took one evening and he hasn-t smoked in about seven years. As for me, I-ve been smoke-free for about 18 years now. Check out the link below that talks about the American Lung Association-s hypnotism program and gives you info on how you can find it in your state.

Although it might not be for everybody, it certainly helped me to kill the smoking monkey on my back. Good luck...cold turkey best way if you can do itRemember: its hard has hell for two weeks, pretty hard for the next two, then tough but really not so bad for another month, then you are more or less in the clear. I used the patch. Worked OK but don-t sleep with that thing on. I had CRAZY dreams. I dreamed I slept with everyone I knew and that-s only one mild example... after that it was only for daytime use!
I also drank a lot of wine, played a lot of Xbox and didn-t go out to smoky bars for three months. The patch does help... not a huge amount but it helps.
But you gotta do it. Been three years and I feel great. No matter how long you have been smoking its always a good time to quit.Dont know where you live but I went on NYquits, they sent me free patches. it-s been 36 days now that I am smoke free. I feel good! Good luck. put your mind to it set a date and you WILL do it.I stopped smoking 3 months ago and this site really helped me....
