Withdrawl Symptoms of stopping smoking? -

I used to be a smoker but I stopped nearly 2 months ago. Recently or (I can-t really remember) I-ve been getting headaches nearly everyday for the past few weeks. Last night I couldn-t even make a sandwich becuase I couldn-t see out of my left eye. It was like auras. Then I felt a migrane coming on.. I don-t know if it could be with stopping smoking or with the weather? I always wake up with a stuffy nose kinda and I always have pressure in my head. Maby I need glasses? I just want to see what people think before I go to the doctor. I also suffer from anxiety so please don-t say stuff like -brain tumour- or whatever or I-ll take a nervous breakdown lol. I also constantly sit glued to my computer so.. God knows just want to know if anyones ever had headaches/migranes for a long time. Are you sure its a migraine?
Though the aura bit sounds like a typical sign of a migraine. Also get your sinuses checked as well as getting an eye checkup. Ask your doctor for a referral to an eye specialist, he can check out your eyes and also the migraines.
Perhaps you are focusing on your computer for too long a period at a time. Take some short breaks away from it and do another activity which gives the eyes some exercise in a different way
And congrats on stopping smoking - good for you.I doubt it is related to quitting smoking since it was a while ago. Congrats by the way! I quit a year and half ago. It sounds like migranes for sure. I had a friend that used to get them all the time and it was related to stress from her job. Probably not a brain tumour but if it continues I would definitely see a doctor. It could be related to allergies or something - that could cause killer sinus headaches. Hope you feel better soon :)Hmmm. Interesting questions. I starting smoking when I was at the age of 12. I quit 2 years ago. I never got those symptoms, but it does not mean they are not withdrawal. I get a migraine when I stop drinking caffeine for a while. But at the same time, I do where glasses and I never got those symptoms either. Well I work in the hospital and work with patient-s doctors orders. Your symptoms sounds a little like when most women before or after they start their period they have bad migraines. I suggest going to see a doctor. Please keep a journal of times, and symptoms on each date then give them to a physician. And Please read this site http://www.medscape.com/viewprogram/4822_pnt I hope I have helped some. Good luck hope you feel better doll!
