well of course i dont smoke, but my dad does and im trying to help him to stop, i know u cant stop smoking in a day. has anyone found a way to break the addiction?

What do you mean you can-t stop in a day? I did. It-s all about will power. I quit cold turkey over 5 years ago. I was smoking about a pack a day. He has to decide that he wants to stop, and then he just needs to do it.i stopped cold turkey. in fact it has been 2 weeks exactly since i have had one. it just takes cold hearted determination!! good luck(prescription ) Chantix has done the trick for me after 40
