Stopping Smoking And exercise? -

Stopping Smoking And exercise? -

Ive cut down to smokng once a week when i go out and started hill walking for 2 hours, 3 times a week, and now i find my chest is poor, i cough at night and my astma which didnt bother me as kicked in again, is this a temporary thing because i want to quit completly and move up to fell running? You will probably find it is temporary. My mum gave up smoking last year and had the most dry hacking cough for a few months after giving up, especially in a morning after she woke up! she used to joke she needed a cigarette to get rid of it!!
However, her cough has now gone and she feels 10 times better than before!!
Persevere with it and I am sure you will be ok- I guess its just your body getting used to the lack of nicotine which used to wing its way to your lungs!!
Good luck!!Maybe it-s because your body isn-t used to it and trying to clear out your system. Just stop smoking completely and see if that makes a difference. If you say you-ll eventually quit for good, then chances are you won-t. There-s no point in doing all the hard work and putting effort into your walking, only to have a cigarette at the end is there??
Good Luck :)
xno stop smoking really stop the reason things like your chest is poor the acid and toxic get in your lungs . also dont walk for 2 hours just 30 min in excrise.keep smoking you will die anyways

lol we will die someday
