I desperately need to stop smoking tobacco to meditate? -

and be clean and healthy and get back to creative workMaking smoking part of your meditative practise for a short while. Every time you have a cigarette smoke it with your total awareness on the cigarette, never smoke one halfheartedly, be there completely in the act of smoking; and alongside this cultivate an awareness of what you are doing to your body. Then take the leap and stop.

When you have stopped smoking you have to watch the craving with the same intensity and totality that you smoked with, cultivate an attitude of awareness and use meditative practises such as Osho-s dynamic meditation and Kundalini to keep your focus.

Also alter your diet a little, the more you increase your vitamin and mineral content the less your body will crave as you will be helping it to detoxify more quickly. Fruit and vegetable juices are good for this.

Chi Gong breathing methods will also help. It is better to stop without the use of medication as this too can have side effects and be addictive.A friend of mine has stopped smoking -same day- after undergoing laser treatment. He smoked for roughly 3oyrs. The laser is shot three times at the back of each ear and cause a massive endorphin release into the brain. This release counteracts the withdrawal phrase of nicotine deprivation, which on average lasts roughly two weeks. Laser treatment from research that I have done is the most effective, least invasive, cheapest and safest method of smoking cessation. Good luck.Really go to town on it this time.Read up on subject , get help,post on here,write down why you-re quitting and pin on wall, or better still, all walls, take week off work etc. etc. and say to yourself -this time it-s final. Smoking is going out of my life once and for all, and nothing you (the cravings) will ever make me smoke again !!
In fact ,you need to meditate to stop smoking, because smoking is phsycological addictionTry something other than medication.. freak yourself out about cancer or dying 5 years earlier leaving family behind because you smoked. Think about what cancer will do to your body.. think every smoke takes 15 mins off your life.. if you have children think about them.. think.. wow Im going to miss out on being with them or family because I cant quit smoking ... I tried everything .. and had a bad allergic reaction to the patch so.. I cant take meds so you have to really really make yourself sick thinking about what will happen to you.. You will die before your time...you dont know whats going to happen to you you might not get a second chance..Try Chantix and a lot of will power. Also depends on how long you have been smoking and how much you smoke. Meditation would also help you to quit. Good luck .? want to stop smoking and I really need help... ? had a lung surgery but I am still smoking... Who can help me?
