Can you get addicted to lozenges they give you for stop smoking? -

im on the patches as wellYes of course, because you are still getting the nicotine which you previously obtained from smoking.Yea u can, my friends dad has gave up smoking two years ago
and stil he is on lozenges
there very addictive, my adcive will be just use patches for the first 6 weeks, and then go cold turkey. Lozenges are expensive and really you dont want to be addicted to those so just use ur will power!
you can do it
good luck, btw im also quiting smoking. Cold Turkey is the way forward trust meI don-t think so... but it-s better to be addicted to lozenges than smoking.

Does anyone know if Wellbutrin is available in the UK? -

Does anyone know if Wellbutrin is available in the UK? -

I keep hearing really good things about this medication, but I don-t know whether Wellbutrin is prescribed as an anti depressant in the UK, or whether it-s just used for people who want to stop smoking. Can anyone advise me?

Also, has anyone found that Wellbutrin improved their energy level? So far, the SSRIs I-ve tried are just making me sleepy!

Many thanks for your time.It-s not yet licensed for use in the UK but it won-t be long if Glaxo-Wellcome have anything to do with it!!!Wellbutrin=buproprion=Zyban

I haven-t seen Wellbutrin brand but I have personally seen Zyban/buproprion in my workplace.Your not experimenting with DRUGS are you??
Oh, ...they are legal, mood changing pharmaceuticals, prescribed by a responsible psychiatrist, and arn-t addictive, and have no harmful side affects, and you can stop whenever you like, easily.
Just as long as I know!!
I hate druggies!!!I currently take Wellbutrin. Initially I was prescribed it from my GP for giving up smoking. It worked a treat and I am now a non-smoker. It has also given me tremendous energy levels since taking it and is the best anti-depressant ever (no side effects for me). I am continuing to take it for depression. Cant fault it! Im sure if you ask your GP for it, they would prescribe it if they thought your medical situation warranted it. Good luck.
