Chavtix - medicine-bad side-effects.Give me stuff to do, to develope good habitsGet out and walk . Would it be fun to be in the hospital and have breething treatments.. do you like to smell like a person or a bad fire?
think think think.. I choose not to smoke. I do not like being unfair to myself.... lemon, lime, oranges, best of luckThe #1 thing that helped me quit smoking is not something everyone has the option of doing, but it was simply to avoid being around other smokers. As soon as they light up, your body says, -Hey, it-s about time for me to have one too.-
If there is a particular activity that you know you tend to smoke more while doing, try to avoid the activity for a while.
It-s best to even avoid movies or television shows where people are shown smoking.
Try to tend to the hand-to-mouth fixation part of smoking by using chew sticks. At the place below, they have licorice root chew sticks in 33 flavors. They are safe and healthy for you to chew. You may also be able to obtain them in your hometown.

The longer time that goes by without having a cigarette, the less and less you will want one. As time goes on, you will find yourself finally being able to smell the smoke in other people-s hair and clothing and you will be disgusted by it. You will think, -Gross, did I used to smell like that?- Yes, you did, and you will never want to smell that way again. You will gradually become disgusted with just having to being around cigarettes at all. What used to entice you will begin to turn your stomach, or at least your lungs.
What-s really nice is when your friends/associates quit smoking as well. After I quit smoking, gradually most all of my friends went on to quit as well. No one really enjoys being the only smoker.
After you get to this point, you will look back and wonder why you smoked for so long. How could I do that to myself all that time? How completely ridiculous was it to PURPOSELY breathe in toxic substances? You wouldn-t purposely breathe in smoke during a fire, nor would you purposely breathe in fumes during a chemical spill. Why? Because you know it is terribly damaging to your body. Yet you did the very same thing to yourself for years.
If you want to live a long time, treat your body like you want to live forever. If you don-t, then don-t. Ultimately, it-s all up to you. There-s not a gum, pill, patch, etc. in the world that-s gonna help you quit smoking unless and until you truly want to.
Best of luck...
