Hope that helps you out!type in -stop smoking- in a search engine and you get plenty of results. I can advice you, if you are a heavy smoker, to buy nicotine chewing gum or smth, really helps...

Oh, and another piece of advice: you cannot stop smoking gradually in practice...you can do it for like 2 days, but after 2 days you-ll find yourself smoking a pack of smokes per day again...just quit instantly (no -last cigarette-!)Don-t stop. Don-t be so gullable as to give in to the anti-smoking propaganda being force fed to the public. The nazi-s did the exact same thing as the americans are doing now (google hitler anti-smoking campaign) and just like the weak minded and worthless nazi followers, american sheep are believing everything the government and pharmaceutical industry tell them. Can it really be any wonder that the only studies to find anything negative in regards to smoking were funded by the govt and pharmaceutical industry (they make the anti-smoking products).. Sin taxes are a multi billion dollar industry... Americans are sheep!!!

Also, if smoking were so unhealthy theres no way in HELL the pharmaceutical industry would want you to stop.First thing is the person has to really want to stop smoking. You can-t want it for them. In my experience, the best way to quit smoking for good is to do it cold turkey. I used the WhyQuit website to help me quit. So far I have been off smoking since February. If I can do it, anyone can. Best of Luck! Some helpful links below.Have I got a doozie of a site for you. I have recommended it to many people. Really helped me get the kick in the bum that I needed. Take the time to look it over (its free). Loads of great info!

I-ve been smoking for the past 8 years and recently i-ve quit smoking. Is there any possible symptom which will occur in my body system?Advance Appreciate for the answerYou-ll start to appreciate the benefits of not smoking, your heart won-t race and your lung capacity will increase. I just quit, haven-t smoked in a week, and I can already feel a difference. Good Luck!It-s a great idea to stop smoking. How ever as per my knowledge people who stop smoking may see headache , sleeplessness, and weight gain (It can be easily manage by exercise) and starvation for nicotine (That-s the main reason to restart smoking but if some one not smoke for 3 months then this symptom might not see), Increase appetite are some of the symptom. Have you check your BP ? If not, then its a good idea to check. Sometime it might change. Ask your doctor for smoking cessation program.I stopped smoking Oct. 17 of last year. Some of the negative symptoms I experienced were headaches, increased lung secretions ie. I was coughing up a lot of mucous, however this is said to be normal and can last for weeks. Your body is trying to get rid of all of the nasty buildup in your lungs. You could also experience a slight weight gain.

The positive things that happened when I quit: my heart didn-t race, I was able to breath deeper, I can now do extensive physical activity without getting winded.

Other that that I really didn-t experience much.

Best of Luck to you!! Just always keep in mind that your stronger than that stupid cigarette!!What do you mean? Your question is not clear. It is scary because some who quit smoking do get cancer a couple years later. I smoked 40 years and quit four years ago and thank God every day the the removal of that horrific sin. Congratulations.

Gain weight, or not?I don-t think you would gain. Unless you had the new hobby of eating.
