I actually ENJOY SmokingI know how you feel, Its very hard.
But i did it! I used Zyban it really helped. I still think you need an element of willpower but this stops the brain waves that make you crave.

I smoke weed everyday,, they say it is not addicting,,,, buty im smoking a half quarter daly and get real stressed and uptight when im not high,,,, i have higher anxiety and am unpleasent... But my lungs are **** and its very costly=what can i do.It definitely is hard to stop smoking weed. I had a hard time getting of it.
But I-m glad I did stop smoking weed. There are many ways you can do something about it. I found a good program which helped me a lot.weed is not PHYSICALLY addicting. it can be PSYCHOLOGICALLY addicting, causing withdrawal effects such as anxiety and insomnia which can last for a couple days to a couple weeks. personally, I-m a regular smoker and ive stopped many times. it sucks for the first couple days, but you get over it. I-m sorry to put this in blunt terms (no pun intended) but its all in your head. nothing bad will happen if you stop. just stop.Some people do get minor side affects when they stop smoking pot, and the only way to get through it is not to give in and start smoking again. The easiest way to stop smoking pot is going cold turkey. Don-t hang out with your friends when they-re smoking and don-t call your dealer. You-re going to feel irritable and anxious for the first couple of days but then after that you should be finePut the pipe down. Marijuana is less addictive than caffeine! There is nothing wrong with weed. I find it the best creation that God made (except for women ;)) that comes straight from the earth. It does not cause brain damage, and no studies have proved this false fact. If you -feel- addicted, give a friend the weed and tell him not to give it to you. Dont pay a visit to your dealer. Or slowly ease your way down.

It-s easier if your not around other people who do it because that will just make you want to do it. Try finding a new hobby to keep your mind off of the ganja.smoke genie instead. it gets you high just like weed and its actually healthy for you. the only bad thing is that its more expensive and you have to order it online because its not sold in usa. it is legal though and can be shipped to you

that made me stop but i dont think you could do the samewhat I would do if i were you is learn about what weed/drugs can do to your health/brain.( if you dont know how can effect you....) and it might change your mind about what you are doing to yourself.(its pretty NASTY if you ask me....) and if this does not work, try to cut it down a little every day

I am trying to help someone quit smoking. Other than nicotine patches, and things you have to buy, does anyone know of a -cold turkey- way to stop. She can-t afford the stop smoking remedies you get in the store. Anything natural?My mom was successful using sun flower seeds and lollipops. Its the motion of smoking they are addicted to also. Hope this helpsYour friend has an addiction. There is no easy answer. She can waste a lot of time - money trying various things. I have never heard of a natural remedy that worked. I talked to a friend the other day, she - her husband quit smoking by using Chantix. They both quit and did not have cravings. She said it really worked great. I don-t know the cost; but it would have to be worth it to end the addiction. And it works! Plus, your friend would be saving money by not smoking. She-d come out financially ahead fast by quitting. and be clean and healthy and get back to creative workMaking smoking part of your meditative practise for a short while. Every time you have a cigarette smoke it with your total awareness on the cigarette, never smoke one halfheartedly, be there completely in the act of smoking; and alongside this cultivate an awareness of what you are doing to your body. Then take the leap and stop.
When you have stopped smoking you have to watch the craving with the same intensity and totality that you smoked with, cultivate an attitude of awareness and use meditative practises such as Osho-s dynamic meditation and Kundalini to keep your focus.
Also alter your diet a little, the more you increase your vitamin and mineral content the less your body will crave as you will be helping it to detoxify more quickly. Fruit and vegetable juices are good for this.
Chi Gong breathing methods will also help. It is better to stop without the use of medication as this too can have side effects and be addictive.A friend of mine has stopped smoking -same day- after undergoing laser treatment. He smoked for roughly 3oyrs. The laser is shot three times at the back of each ear and cause a massive endorphin release into the brain. This release counteracts the withdrawal phrase of nicotine deprivation, which on average lasts roughly two weeks. Laser treatment from research that I have done is the most effective, least invasive, cheapest and safest method of smoking cessation. In fact ,you need to meditate to stop smoking, because smoking is phsycological addictionTry something other than medication.. freak yourself out about cancer or dying 5 years earlier leaving family behind because you smoked. Think about what cancer will do to your body.. think every smoke takes 15 mins off your life.. if you have children think about them.. think.. wow Im going to miss out on being with them or family because I cant quit smoking ... I tried everything .. and had a bad allergic reaction to the patch so.. I cant take meds so you have to really really make yourself sick thinking about what will happen to you.. You will die before your time...you dont know whats going to happen to you you might not get a second chance..Try Chantix and a lot of will power.
