I smoke does that mean now I basically go out in public? -

I can-t stop smoking I have tried many many times I am completely addicted I wish I had never started but I did. Now I hear I can-t smoke anywhere in public or something does that mean I have to quit work and stay at home on the dole and sell drugs because my benefits wont pay for the over taxed cigarette prices?You-re an ambitious little tyke aren-t you?

No. It simply means that we can-t smoke in enclosed public places or workplaces.

So street and parks are still smoker friendly.no,i live in wales and we have had this ban in place since april 2007.it was hard at first but you will get used to it quick,i too smoke so this means i have cut down on my drinking i cannot really win but it is o.k after a while.it means you can not smoke in a enclosed area that others are to use, smoke outdoors in the open and in some places a smoking area outside, smoking will still go on you-ll soon find out that, the law itself in effect from the 1st July ,no need to give up work just abide with it,the time will soon pass byYou are now a leper, join the rest of us.Its just in enclosed spaces, indeed i AM afraid!
I think its meant to be an incentive - well, more than a force tactic - to make you stop. And by god its a good thing! doesnt mean everyone else should have their health wrecked by those who continue to smoke...
the law comes into action in the UK on sunday coming, ( ithink) i think you are overreacting haha. benefits should not pay for things that are inneccesary! - ie. fags! lol
so don-t panic lol, its all fine and dandy, the ban isnt as tough as it seemsYESthats exactly what it means!I smoke and don-t want to stop. In work it-s stress relief and at home......stress relief.
Now we-re a minority everyone else just has a punt at us. Sod -em. I-ll still smoke and be happy doing it until I die of a nasty illnes relating to smoking (what isn-t)? Or I could crash the car tomorrow....I don-t smoke in the car. Bugger perhaps I-ll start, that way it will be smoke related. Lol.
Keep the faith.......and the ash!!!!!!smokers are the last group that is considered -ok- to pick on. the effects of second hand smoke are highly exaggerated (taken from a study done in 1971!). it is a terrible addiction, and I wish I could quit also. the good news is that most insurance will pay for perscriptions to help you quit.
