I have been trying to have a baby for about 6 years now and my doctor said that if i stop smoking my chances will increase fast so i need to know the best way to quit smoking with out that much money. i was going to get a prescription from my doctor but i have no insurance and the meds would cost 120 dollars a month for up to 6 months with no promiss that it would work for me so what do you recommend anything would help please!!!First, you must have the WILL to quit. If you don’t have the will, it won’t happen.First, set a date when you will quit smoking.
Forget the medications available. They are expensive. I would suggest ‘poor man’s ‘ acupuncture. The area acupuncturists use to stop people from smoking are the earlobes but you don’t have to stick your earlobes with needles. Rather, whenever you get the urge, grab both your earlobes and massage them using light pressure with your forefingers and thumbs. While doing this, tell yourself you don’t need that next cigarette. You can do this for 30 seconds or a minute. If you still have the urge, repeat the process. But as always, no method works if you don’t have the will.
