i have to write a report on what would give someone the will to stop smoking
can anyone help please?Well my uncle had recently died from lung cancer, which made both my mom and my brother quit smoking.. So a death in the family or a friends death would scare someone into quitting.. Other than that, they need to find the will on their own, and need to find a reason for themselves to quit. If a smoker doesn-t have a reason to quit, they tend to struggle quite a bit than if someone who had a reason for quitting. You know what I mean?Hi!
I believe that no one had run away REALLY off cigarettes until the return just looking for excuses for smoking.

Sincerely, E.you cant make someone give up they have to be willing to do it themselves i was a smoker and i gave up nearly 4 months ago i was on 20-25 a day nothing ever wanted to make me give up eg: adverts about cancer etc. Just one day i decided i was going to give up and that was thatWell i tried absolutely everything and in the end it was finding out that i was pregnant that gave me the will power to stop. As soon as i took that test and it came back positive i threw my cigs away and have not smoked sine (two years)*the fact that someone that i knew died from smoking.
*once you have children, you wont want to affect their lives with it?
although i don-t have children i know my parents gave it up for me and my brother.

Tell them how much they spend and how much they-ll end up spending. Or like someone above said, bet them a bunch of money that they can-t have one for a year, you may lose some money, but its worth it.my best friend smoked for 5 years, i made him a $500 bet that he wouldn-t smoke for a year. he won. i paid up. he hasn-t smoked since.I-m a smoker - and I think a picture of what my lungs look like might make me give up. It-s all the more real if you can actually SEE the damage to your OWN body.family death related to smoking?

seeing their children smokeI would suggest that you write the drawbacks of smoking such as HEART DISEASE, LUNG CANCER and all...This will definitely discourage the smokers.....
