Those of you who succeeded at quitting smoking? -
If you had successfully kicked the addiction, meaning you stopped for a month or more, please tell me:ow many cigarettes did you smoke every day and how many years?
Did you quit cold turkey or cut down/changed your habits (your smoking rituals)
What helped you quit successfullly this time? Was it something that happened to you that made you quit once and for all, or was it a built up hate toward cigarettes, or did you plan for it, or what ?...
Please help me out, I know I have to stop smoking, I understand that I am hurting myself, I want to have all the tools to quit successfully, because if I am just going to quit for 3-4 days, suffer, and then relapse, it is not worth it... Please help me
Thanks in advance :)I live in the state of Colorado. Here they have the Colorado quit line. Your call the quit line and you get a quit coach. They can set you up to get free nicotine patches which really help. Plus call and check on you, give you support. It sound like you really have the desire to quit. Please know it is not easy.(but anything important never is)
Also a website that has some great tools is quitdoingit.com
It has a link to information for the quit lines.
Remember if you fail try again, most people try multiple times before they are able to successfully quit. Good luck!!! You can do it.
