The way I did it is just think about the time when I wasn-t smoking, and extend it out. Indefinitely.
The other things I did were get some eucalyptus-menthol toothpicks (when I breathed in, I could *feel* something), drink a glass of water every time I had a craving, and also spent a lot of time reading about what emphysema felt like, what oat cell cancer looked like, and how black my lungs would be from smoking more.It-s hard but it-s the only way as far as I-m concerned. All of these non smoking aids only prolong the agony and you get to depend on them. The way I looked at it was if I would start again all the days I didn-t smoke would just have been wasted and all the withdrawal would have been for nothing.it works for some people. It worked for my mum, she reduced her smoking to when she had a drink or somert, then fully quit as your cravings will reduce.I was for me
