do you have any tips to for my mum to help her quit smoking, because she-s finding it really hard...is there anything i can do to help her?
she-s tried patches and gum but they never seem to work
any ideas?
xWell. Probably Nothing.
Your Could Go On The Internet And Tell Her The Effects Of Smoking.
You Maybe Able To Scare Her Into Stopping.I no an idea. Get any fags she has. Chop em- up into small bits into a bin. Then get some glue and pour it over them, chuck over other stuff if you want. Oh yeah, keep an eye on her at all times. Keep using patches and gum. Keep her mind off of them. Shock her into stopping. If she really wants to quit she will quit. Keep at her and it will work eventually! Good Luck!show her how smoking hurts the environment, put her in rehab and not the rehab that is for real strict stuff but the stuff for problems, or try to stop her stay with her wherever she goes and tell her to stop hope this helpsHow to help my mum stop smoking? -

My boyfriend says that he has been smoking since he was 12. I understand that it is had to quit anything addictive and I want to help make it easier for him. He has tried to quit several times since we have been going out (2 years), even deciding before we met that he wanted to stop. The issue is he gets very agitated without cigarettes and then eventually either bums it off of other people or breaks down and buys a new pack. I know he no longer really likes to smoke but he hates how he acts when he does not have nicotine. We can-t get patches because we can-t afford another cost, also another reason why he is quitting because of the cost. I want to help make this easier for him but I obviously can-t make the whole world more pleasant for him with the a snap of my fingers. I would like some advice from those that have had similar situations. I don-t want answers from those that have not been through this. You must know what are the advantages of quitting:

This will keep you motivated throughout. My friend was chain smoker and he quit. He use to say, just be mentally strong and you can do it. Here are some tips that helped him:

Just tell him he is putting his life your life and everyone else life-s at risk.
Tell him he is going to end up in hospital with lung cancer or brain cancer at a very young age and well upset his family, and if you don-t like it you should tell him you will leave him because you don-t really want to die.try cuttin his ciggis in half once he finishes that pack. do it again. then the next pack cut off more then half for the next 2 packs. then only leave a few drags for the next few packs. until you get to only one drag. yes it is wasting his money on one drag but he is still wasting his money if he smoked them any way...hopefully after he slowly cuts down he will learn to handle it...im tryin to help my riend stop to.
good luck x xHow Can I help my boyfriend stop smoking? -

Well, yes, your symptoms are normal, though very unpleasant. The body really needs time to make itself free of all those toxins you had been stuffing it with while smoking. When you smoked, they were accumulating inside you, and more smoking kept them in and added even more to them. Now they are all being released from the cells into blood. Unfortunately, you will have several very unpleasant days but they are worth your health, after all! And a good news for you. According to some researches, the body is able to restore the healthy condition you had had before you started smoking. Just give it time and, please, do not smoke again!Whenever any drug is detoxing from the body you are bound to feel a few intense symptoms. It depends on how long you were using and how much as to how intense they will be. It may be a good idea to see a physician to get checked out to make sure you are ok while detoxing and possibly he can give you something to make it easier. And congratulations on your decision to stop..it may be the most important decision of your life time....Good for you!!Stopped smoking crack a few days ago, im feeling really tired, cant eat, severe headache, is it normal symptoms? -
