Hi everyone, I don-t know any of you, but I care enough, to let you know you can quit smoking if you really want to.

I smoked a pack and a half a day, for the past 9 years, then my wife (who doesn-t smoke, and I don-t smoke in the house) got pregnant, I realized I didn-t want to be one of those redneck fathers who smoke with their kids in the car. So I talked to my wifes OB/GYN and she wrote me a prescription for Chantix.

I-ve been smoke-free for 20 days now, and I feel great. Chantix, does have some side effect, i-ve only experienced two, naseau and vivid dreams, NOT nightmares.

Honestly I forgot to take my medicine this morning, and still have no desire to smoke.

This is not a self-serving post, its something I want to give you in an effort to make the choice.

Somethings I noticed since Janurary 10th..

1. I smell better.
2. I can taste food again.
3. I don-t cough
4. I don-t have to dictate my day around smoking
