Yesterday, I was walking to school and I saw my friend at the park smoking, he-s only 14! I told him to stop smoking but he won-t. I asked him why he was smoking and he said it was G(that means gangster). It is not G, its bad! What should I do?!!tell his guidance counselor at school, then report it to his parents. Does he have any anger or problems at home?? and he is relieving it that way. I would leave my friend until he/she open their eyes and stop for good. but then this is the point where they need u the most. !Well, when kids get into problems like that, its diffucult for them to stop. If u tell them to stop and they say no there is nothing you can do. But dont worry about it. Just try every other day to tell him and convince him otherwise. He has no clue what problems he is creating for himself and those around him.tell somone you trust so that he can get some help trying to quit. if no one is willing to help or either he isn-t willing to stop make sure you stay away to avoid second hand smoke.There-s not much you can do since he can make his own choices. I would get any information and disgusting pictures of lung cancer and whatever you can find to give him to look at. Since he is only 14 and not of legal age to smoke, you can tell his parents, but that may cause trouble between the 2 of you. I suggest the best thing is show him in any way you can what can happen to people who smoke. Also try to calculate the cost of cigarettes over a year of smoking and point out what he could buy with that money if he didn-t buy smokes. He is young enough to quit now. I started smoking at 12 and have been smoking for over 30 years and it is very hard to quit. The sooner you stop after starting the easier it is to quit and less long term damage that can heal. The body is very forgiving and will heal if he quits.
