Polietly ask all the smokers around you to step outside to smoke because of the heath risks to the baby and tell them you-re attempting to quit too. Seriously, the risks in smoking alone are SO bad- and then being pregnant?? That kid is baking in smoke and has nicotine running thru it-s veins. It will have a more likely risk of being a preemie with major health problems or SIDS. Try to keep these issues in mind when trying to quit, and KEEP reminding yourself. It takes around 11 days for the nicotine to leave your body, and around 2-3 months to not feel the need to smoke. BUT TRY, FOR YOUR BABY-s SAKE!!Talk to your doctor and take your partner in this pregnancy with you. Your husband and you can go through this together or, for that matter, your mother and you could do this together. What ever you do, talk to your doctor about it and talk to your family about how important this is to you and your child. My husband recently quit smoking and he seems to be so please that he has.by learning how to spellthe best way is to consider your child getting born addicted to nicotine, with mental retardation and heart and lung illness.
r u not convinced yet?
as for the others,I think that u made them not to respect your pregnancy and your little innocent unborn baby!
since u r 7 months pregnant I think that all the damage was done.the 3 first months are the determining for a baby-s physical and mental health...just quit and tellother they have to smoke outsideDon-t show cigars to herTry not to be around family when they smoke or smell like nicotine because even the scent of it can make you want to start again. Try to be away from the people smoking i know its hard but thats the only way for you and your baby to be safe. Nicotine is considered a drug and has the same effects only thing is its legal.
