(A valid Q Coming from a smoker) You-re sick of it, it defeats the purpose of getting bathed and cologned in the morning, even people who smoke can smell it on you, you don-t realize it-s a smoke free area and you light up obliviously, you eat~you light up, you have sex~you light up, you-re bored~agitated~need fresh air~you light up, you see those informatively sorrowful truth commercials~- you still light up, you just had one and you light up anyway. Being as we weren-t born with cancer sticks in our mouths, your thoughts on doing completely away with tobacco companies. I think doing so is the perfect solution! I know it violates certain freedom acts (not sure which ones) for businesses, and we may have a large volume of moody/agressive individuals experiencing withdrawal, and it would change the world as we know it, but I think it all would be really worth it. It-s not impossible....right or wrong!It-s not impossible. I-m trying to quit now, and it-s not easy. I think after a while it just becomes a nasty habit to have something in your hands. We find any reason to light up, no matter what we are doing.You also mention those commercials that they have been playing constantly on T.V which should make us feel like quitting more. The problem is we think it-ll never happen to me. But what we must realize is those people thought that too, at one time or another.
Yes, I want to QUIT!!! I-m tired of the STINK!!!! I try much too hard to smell GOOD,Trying to eat RIGHT, To LIVE longer for My CHILDREN!! To ruin it all with a stupid CIGARETTE that-s going to KILL me anyway!!!
For The first time I will be Happy to Be A QUITTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!You did not say that you are an ex-smoker but the way that you
blasted away on smokers makes me think that you are not a smoker. There are many reasons why people haven-t quit. Don-t
speak for the rest of us.No one lives forever so you might as well enjoy yourself.
Have a smoke and drink if you want, and to hell with any one who tries to tell you how to liveI think of it all the time. I have quit several and have started back up over stupid reasons. I am working on it. I am down to 4-5 smokes a day (for the last year) it is really hard but can be done, I just need to put my mind to it. It is mind over matter.
dpits not impossible! i quit cold turkey after 16 years and have been smoke free for 5 years now. i-ve had friends quit by hypnosis and by homeopathic remedies. you go! non smokers are HOTTTthe thought crosses my mind every time I take that last drag and put one out.... {{sigh}}
