Can you give me good reasons to stop smoking? -

Can you give me good reasons to stop smoking? -

keep donating your money to the tob company, thank you for smoking, good for business.A reason can be viewed as being “good” or “bad” depending on your outlook on life. If you’re not really concerned about the welfare of your family and yourself then I don’t think anyone can give you a “good” reason to stop smoking, they will simply be reasons not to smoke.

Now that we have that out of the way, the best reason to stop smoking is because you are irreversibly damaging your health. No matter what Big Tobacco tells you, smoking will kill you. It will severely damage your lungs and you will end up with the latter part of your life coughing up blood and mucous. If you’re really unlucky you will get cancer and will have to go through all sorts of chemo and/or radio therapy and watch yourself die slowly and painfully. Not only is this a harrowing experience for you but it will be a miserable time for your family and friends and loved ones.

But, if you’re one of those very lucky people who has a gene that makes them almost immune to smoking then you might not be too concerned about any harm to your health.

In that case you need to think about all the harm you’re causing to people around you, through passive smoking. Every time you have a smoke, you’re very slowly killing someone who’s close by.

If you’re not bothered about killing other people then think about all the money you will save by not smoking. You can save up all that money you light up and puff away and buy yourself some luxuries. Maybe expensive clothes or shoes or a new TV or a new car. Whatever takes your fancy. It doesn’t matter how you spend it because if you were smoking you’d be burning it away.

If you’re super rich and is not worried about money then I guess there’s no good reason to stop smoking. You’re immune to cigarette carcinogens, you don’t care about others and you have more money than you care to worry about!it increases your risk of lung cancer. It decreases your stamina and leaves you with shortness of breath in the short term, in the long term you can have bronchitis or have difficulty breathing and wheezy lungs. It stains your teeth and makes you smell bad. It makes your breath stink. It stains your fingers and it makes you wrinkle faster and age faster than you would if you didn-t smoke. It also gives you an ashy look-almost sick if you do it for several years and regularly. Finally it is expensive, you waste so much money just to kill yourself!!!It smells bad. Stains your teeth yellow. Not aloud in many places anymore because risk of making other people sick. It costs way too much ! With the price of fuel climbing and everything else. Think of how much money you would save. WAY better fo your health. I had an uncle who died from lung cancer. It was a very painful, horrible way to go. It-s a nasty addictive thing and if you can quit... all the power to it. You-d feel better, smell better, have more money, and your quality of life would improve. I don-t know who I-m trying to convince.. You or mecan you give any good reasons to continue smoking? doubtful.None that are not readily available to any educated person.nope -it-s all about choice. you have to want to quit. You will get lung cancer and die.Kim (see answer below) and I are out of cigarettes and need yours.
