i want to stop smoking but not put on the weight when i stop. any suggestions appreciated.you wont lose weight when you stop. Your heart will work better so you can work out with less risk of a heart attack. To stop smoking use a nicotine patch and chew gum. chewing gum will keep your mouth busy so you wont feel as much at a loss without your cigarettes.Its all a matter of you mind,if your mind is strong enough you cando it, i suggest also to work out while you start to stop smoking and maybe you can visit some -quit smoking groups- in your area who can support you.Try to get more information regarding some ways to stop smoking at my profile.After you have made up your mind to stop smoking what many people do is turn to eating.
