Tips on quitting smoking? -
As soon as the clock hits 12, I plan to stop smoking. It may be permanently, it may not be, but anything, whether it be cigarette or pot, will be cut out for the foreseeable future and I was wondering how I can successfully do so without cheating. From what I-ve heard, some people just have to get through the first day, and then they-re fine, but it varies from person to person. This past Monday I didn-t have anything to smoke for over 15 hours, and I felt fine. No irritation, anger, or anything, but I-m worried about how gruesome it may be to go longer than that without a smoke. I just mainly want to prove to myself I have the willpower to quit.
Not to mention, I-ve been smoking for less than a year, so if I do quit, then any damage I-ve done to my lungs may heal. Honestly, I-m not sure if I-ll start smoking again, I-m not sure if I will, but it-s not a choice I regret.put the butts in a bottle of tea and every time u have a craving take a deep breath of the tea.I-ve read that chewing gum really helps. Also, just try to distract yourself and stay around people. Try not to ever be alone, and if you are, distract yourself by eating, or watching television.if you want to prove you have the will power to quit dont use anything that will help. my dad did that and quit easily after 15 years so there isnt an excuse, just stop buying them. What yu really have to work on is the unconscious need to smoke. You have to be vigilant if yuo feel the need to automatically light upIf you really want to quit just don-t buy any more or -borrow- any from anyone. Simple as that!get rid of everything including ashtrays, lighters

way to go
i quit 13 months agoLess than a year? If you are half done even if you are just thinking about it. The earlier, the easier, as I believe.
Good job.
However, don-t try to find something abnormal in you after quitting. Just live your life out without cigarettes.I-ve tried just about every method there is out there and there is only one I can recommend - NLP! It eliminates the cravings.
Gum patches and all the other just did not cut it for me, not to mention cold turkey which was the hardest, I even tried the electric cig and it is just no match to the real thing.

Good luck kicking the habit!
