I quit smoking 61 days ago and today I took only one hit off a blunt. I just want to know if that one hit will stay in my system for a while. I heard if you stop smoking for a month your urine should be clean even if you smoked heavily in the past.61 days ago... most of that should be through your system already.

The new stuff should still be detected in your urine for around 2 weeks. I-m going to assume that as an experienced smoker, you taking one hit was at least enough to stimulate you a bit - otherwise, you probably would have taken a second hit.

It-s not really about how many times you puffed but how much THC actually got absorbed by your lungs and made its way to your bloodstream.

Depending on your body and how much you smoked before, there may still be pockets of THC stored in your fat deposits that will be released in small quantities for some months, but after this much time, it-s unlikely to be significant on a urine test.

If you smoked a lot before and waited just one month, it-s not at all certain that you would test clean even without having had a hit. In fact, I-d say that the odds might not be in your favor...

Any test worth its salt will still see at least something after two weeks. Whether it-s enough to merit a -positive- result is more about where and how it is tested. It may be enough to merit a re-test with a different method. If that-s the case, request a saliva test. If you really have quit and it has been a week or so, it will probably give you a clean result.

So tomarrow, im going sober. The first day is always the shittiest. I was a heavy smoker too. And yes, in one month you will be good. Just drink alot of water.
