Personally, I don-t see how this would work, But a friend of mine many years ago had it done and it worked for him, I think they used it on his ear and part of his hand, i guess it works like accupuncture.
I never tried it, but I tried other stuff, But the only thing that worked for me was a prescription drug -Welbutrin- Trade name -ZYBAN- This is an anti depressant drug that for some reason takes all the pleasure out of smoking, you smoke as you take the pills and after about ttwo weeks cigarettes have no more effect on you than sucking on a pencil, so I stopped cigarettes, after a month I didn-t eat Zyban anymore and never ever had cigarette cravings again.
I don-t know what it costs where you live, I think it was about $80 here, but it was still a lot cheaper than cigarettes. If it helps people to stop smokeing,I-m all for it.Yes indeed cold laser and an extreme will to stop smoking will do the trick. What do you think about using cold laser to stop smoking? -

Please tell me what its like to stop smoking cold turkey? -
that-s what i plan to do tomorrow and i want to know what i-m in for. lolYou-ll want to peel your skin off and jump out the window into a pool of salt water..well i dont know what u are talkin about but if u are talking about weed....
1.dont go around ppl the will use it in front of you or even talk about it with you because you will crave it
2. get rid of all of your lighters.
3. get rid of bowl, bong, papers.
4.keep your mind off of it, play video games or somethin like that.
5. the first week is the hardest,I like Tyler J-s answer, it is similar with smoking cigs.
You-ll be irritable and short-tempered, especially on day 2-3. You-ll get the oral fixation: you-ll constantly need to put something in your mouth, especially food because your sense of taste will return. Be careful: this is where the weight gain comes from. Stock up on veggies, fruits, and other low-calorie snacks.
Don-t drink alcohol excessivly as this will also have you craving cigs like crazy. Try changing up your routine, limiting or avoiding things that you would normally do that cigs were a part of. Try getting some exercise as this will lessen the cravings. Also, try going to a healthfood store and getting some nicotine-free smoking cessation tablets. They-ll curb the cravings and lessen the withdrawal.
Once you-re past the first 3 days, then the first three weeks, you-ll be set!
Best of luck!there are a few things to remember if you want to suceed...first..nicotine fits only last about three min. but come in clusters...second..they only come once so when you have one your one step closer to quitting...third, use your mind to help you by seeing yourself not want one and that they taste nasty each time you have one...the human mind excepts anything as true within 90 days...you wont fight yourself...four..you cant break a habit but you can replace it...learn something new you always wanted to...make a reward system so you have no loss but gain...five...drink lots of water to flush the nicotine out..and most of all..either your a smoker or your not...once you put it down..do it for one month...at one month..do it for three months...and keep this up till your 30 years past...like me...it works...aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh… even after you quitFor the most part, when you deal with withdrawal, you-ll just have to tough it out, but there are some things that can help cleanse out the toxins and may help to minimize some of the effects of withdrawal...
Drinking water will help to detox, and taking some supplements that work as cleansers may help as well. Specifically, Apple Cider Vinegar, Green Tea (decaffeinated), Chlorophyll (fantastic cleanser), and even good amounts of fiber and water helps some people (although it-s not very comfortable for the lower level of detoxification you get).
All that being said, it-s likely that the symptoms should stop relatively shortly after your last pill (it-s never as long as it feels like it is). Your neurotransmitters don-t take too terribly long to scream for something they are addicted to after you stop.
Another important thing to note is that no matter how bad it gets, taking more of the drug will only make the withdrawal last longer and will be harder on you in the long run. Good luck, and congrats again!you-ll be arguing with yourself for two weeks until the craving stops you-ll hear little voices in your head saying things like go on one wont hurt dont be silly take a puffHere-s a tip from Dr. Richard Schulze.
He says to take lobelia. It-s an herb that reduces the cravings some. It-ll also help get the nicotine out of your system faster which is what keeps people addicted...that and the tactile withdrawal.
The lips and fingers are two of the most sensitive parts of the body, and of course smoking involves both a lot. That-s where the carrots and celery come in handy..they keep your fingers and lips occupied.
BTW, the way Richard Schulze suggests quitting is to replace one cigarette the first day with one capsule of lobelia. On the second day, it-s two for two. Keep increasing like like that, until around the 4th or 5th day where you might just quit totally without too much problem. (Don-t take all the lobelia at once, just substitute one for each cigarette you would have smoked but didn-t throughout the day.)
Lobelia is available at health food stores. Please tell me what its like to stop smoking cold turkey? -

My friend is smoking and I told him to stop but he didnt, what should I do?? -
Yesterday, I was walking to school and I saw my friend at the park smoking, he-s only 14! I told him to stop smoking but he won-t. I asked him why he was smoking and he said it was G(that means gangster). It is not G, its bad! What should I do?!!tell his guidance counselor at school, then report it to his parents. Does he have any anger or problems at home?? and he is relieving it that way. I would leave my friend until he/she open their eyes and stop for good. but then this is the point where they need u the most. !Well, when kids get into problems like that, its diffucult for them to stop. If u tell them to stop and they say no there is nothing you can do. But dont worry about it. Just try every other day to tell him and convince him otherwise. Well I realy hope I helped good luck to u and ur friendYou have no control over him. He has no clue what problems he is creating for himself and those around him.tell somone you trust so that he can get some help trying to quit. if no one is willing to help or either he isn-t willing to stop make sure you stay away to avoid second hand smoke.There-s not much you can do since he can make his own choices. I would get any information and disgusting pictures of lung cancer and whatever you can find to give him to look at. Since he is only 14 and not of legal age to smoke, you can tell his parents, but that may cause trouble between the 2 of you. I suggest the best thing is show him in any way you can what can happen to people who smoke. Also try to calculate the cost of cigarettes over a year of smoking and point out what he could buy with that money if he didn-t buy smokes. He is young enough to quit now. I started smoking at 12 and have been smoking for over 30 years and it is very hard to quit. The sooner you stop after starting the easier it is to quit and less long term damage that can heal. The body is very forgiving and will heal if he quits. Good luck convincing him.Just tell on him or tell the facts about smoking.nothin you can do unless you tell his parentsgnagsters don-t make you look tougher. it makes you look stupider.( no efence)smack the ciggerette out of his hand s and tell him if he does-nt stop then you will never be his friend.try going to above the influence.com to figure out more ways to stop him from smoking. My friend is smoking and I told him to stop but he didnt, what should I do?? -

Does quot;stop smokingquot; gum or patches work? -
curious if i should try and get anynever smoked so dunno.I have used them both and found the gum to be more effective for that -sudden- urge. In the end though, I used patches to finally quit them nasty things. It has been over 9 years now and quitting was the best decision I have ever made in my life. Good luck. Hope you can quit. If not this time, maybe next. Quitting is easy, I have done it over 1000 times (LOL). It is truly a mind over matter thing. You really have to want to quit. The aids help a bit also.everyone is different, for me i used a pill called chantix, the patches never worked for me and the gum was a joke, good luck and dont give up its all worth it in the end...They help but won-t do the job for you; you need to have enough willpower to want to quit for them to help you through the cravings. You have to want to quite. Then, the patches will work.Does quot;stop smokingquot; gum or patches work? -
