I-ve been smoking since I was 14..........smoked casually from 14-21 -- since I hit the bar scene it-s been about a half pack per day -- I have quit twice......once for 8 months....and most recentley I made it a whole year!! But I-m an idiot and started again 6 months ago.......It seems like whenever I quit I always come back to it only more addicted. I hate it - it makes me feel like ****......it wastes my money.....it makes me smell bad..........my uncle died of lung cancer........I cough everytime I have a cigarrette........I-ve used the patch....gum .......etc.......... I-m going out to have a cigarrette right now.......I suck.............HOW DOES SOMEONE WITH AN ADDICTIVE PERSONALITY QUIT THIS CRAPPY HABBIT!!!!!!!!!?????try chantix...my dad smoked for 30+ years and used this to fully kick the habit. good luck!Well first off, for someone to successfully quit smoking, they have to want to quit smoking. The government puts the same chemicals in cigarettes that are the addictive agents in cocaine so you stay addicted. Then you smoke for the rest of your life and spend thousands of dollars on cigarettes.

Try throwing all of your smoking paraphernalia out and not looking back. That-s how my grandparents quit.From what I can see, you are half way already because you have successfully quit smoking twice. What I would suggest is that you should find out what makes you hold that cigarette, use that same method as you have quit before and avoid anything that would make you light up a cigarette again.I know quite a few women who were inspired to stop smoking because they became pregnant.
If you have children remember that second hand smoking is more dangerous than first hand. And now they-ve found out that third hand smoking (when smoke lingers behind days after you smoke) is very harmful as well. Do it for the kids.dude it is simple just quit withdrawal from cigs wont kill you so just stop if it wastes your money and kills you, you think that would be enough of a reason to stop.Try talking to a counselor .They might help u feel better and give u advise on how to quit smoking.If you are really serious about quitting, you have to do it. Some ways to quit if you haven-t tried these already is gradually slowing down. Like not just smoking ten a day then completely stopping. Smoke 9 the next week then 7 a day the next week, etc... then, once you have completely stopped, try to remember that it is doing you harm to your body, your wallet and the people around you and that might help you not to reach out for another one. Just sit there and accept the fact that you ARE NOT GOING TO HAVE ANOTHER ONE!
Also, i have herd of these other sorts of ciggirettes which APPARENTLY give you the same feel as a cigerette, but don-t casue harm to you. They also don-t make you adicted to them anymore. I can-t remember what they are called, but you could ask someone in the medical industry like a doctor

Ive quit smoking for 3 months. Then came up a rule for myself.. I only Smoke on Certain Occasions.
For me.. It is.. this...
I only smoke when I Drink Alcohol. PERIOD.
I dont Blaze or Smoke unless i Drink alcohol.
If u can make it a Habbit its very easy.
Also try doing stuff such as Working out and Cardio.
To get to that fine physique u want. U must go far into the game.
Therefore u cant smoke. BUT its okay to cheat once in awhile.
That is when you drink and relax yourself, or when your having fun.
Smoking is really all a mental game, and how its u play the game you be successful.
If u got addictive personality, then dont force yourself into a corner. Then end up stressing urself.
Though just because ur allowed slack doesnt mean u shud drink everyday to slack u know
1-2 a week is fine. As long as u know when to stop.. Thats when ur not drinking.
IF UR a Alcoholic.. then my idea wont work.
ud juz have to find better reasons for urself to quit.
if u have a reason and it dont make u quit.
U need a better reason.
Listening to us wont work. Once again its a mind game u have to overcome
