Should i stop smoking weed? -
my mom caught me smoking like a month ago, and ive stopped since. But i like doing it so much should i give back in?Probably not cause ur gonna break ur moms heart.
Its got to be your decision cause i mean you cant and should not quit something even if its a bad thing like weed or whatever by force but you should decide and quit by self awareness and freedom of mind.Realise that weed is harmful and then quit but realise faster and no i dont say you to some weed to realise watch some videos of people suffering in hospitals,go visit a hospital or something spend a day understand the value of life.no i wouldnt if i were you... what a stupid decision.Well if you are still living with your mom and she says NO, don-t do as long as you live with her. Because she has the final say in the matter, it is HER house. However, once you are an adult and on your own, go ahead and enjoy in moderation. A few health risks involved such as lung cancer. That-s why no matter what drug you choose, you should always do it in moderation, because excess will be bad for your health.Only if you don-t mind having no memory or motivation.one love, one life
let-s get together and feel alright

what would bob marley do?hell no! smoking is stupid. i know the temptation is there but do not give in. BE ABOVE THE INFLUENCE!DAMN STRAIGHT. man its jus a bit of mary-jane if ya wanna smoke it, smoke it. just do it on days when you know your mom won-t be around or has any chance of catchin you -cos it-ll actually really hurt her if she catches you again. so jus do it when you have plenty of time for yourself and maybe cut back a bit!! enjoy da herbz manEveryone goes through a phase in their life and they start rebelling...i did it also...But then I grew up...One day you-ll do the same and realize that it-s not the best thing for youi smoke and i know what i say to you:
1)your amount of numbers of cigaretes will increase day by day.
2)i smoke one year and my amount of cigaretes in 10 per day.
3)alter 2 years of smoking your % of geting lung cancer is big.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Smoke is a psychologycal problem!!!!After same time you will automatikal take a cigaret without wish!!!Dope is for dopes!

This method works for me,I quit smoking 2 years ago
The Allen Carr Method
HOW THE METHOD WORKS
Using psychotherapy, the method works in the opposite way to the “willpower” method. It does not concentrate on the reasons the smoker should not smoke : the money, the slavery, the health risks and the stigma. Smokers know all that already. Instead it focuses on why smokers continue to smoke in spite of the obvious disadvantages.
It is fear that keeps smokers hooked!
Fear the smoker will have to give up their pleasure or crutch. Fear the smoker will be unable to enjoy life or handle stress. Fear the smoker will have to go through an awful trauma to get free. Fear the smoker will never get completely free from the craving.
The Method removes these fears
Smokers quit with the Allen Carr Method as happy non-smokers, not feeling deprived but with a huge sense of relief and elation that they have finally achieved what they always wanted….
TO BE FREE!
What about the terrible withdrawal pangs from nicotine?
The physical withdrawal from nicotine is so slight that most smokers don’t realise that they are addicts. What smokers suffer when they try and quit using other methods is the misery and depression caused by the belief that they are being deprived of a pleasure or a crutch.
The Allen Carr Method removes this feeling of deprivation.
It removes the need and desire to smoke. Once the smoker is in the right frame of mind and they follow the simple instructions, the physical withdrawal from nicotine is hardly noticeable.
No Gimmicks!
The Method does not use any gimmicks, useless aids or substitutes. No nicotine gum, patches, lozenges, tabs, inhilators or nasal sprays! No needles! No lasers! No drugs! No herbs! No shock treatment!
The Allen Carr Method is successful because:
It removes the smokers’ conflict of will.
There are no bad withdrawal pangs.
It is instantaneous and easy.
It is equally effective for long-term heavy smokers and light smokers.
You need not gain weight.
You will not miss smoking.
Medical Endorsements
A personal view from Professor Judith Mackay MBE, JP, FRCO (Edin), FRCP (Lon), World Health Organisation Advisory Panel on Tobacco and Health
“I have no hesitation in supporting Allen Carr’s work. Many clinics use some of his techniques but it would appear that few do it in quite such a successful package.”
Carole Johnson, Coronary Heart Disease Prevention Unit, Tyne Tees
“his success rate was such that, when budgets allow, we continue to use Easyway for work with specific groups and individuals.”
Dr Anil Visa BSc, MBBch., FRCA, Consultant – Royal Hospitals NHS Trust – Royal London Hospital
“I have observed the Allen Carr method at first hand and have found it to be very successful and I wholeheartedly support it as an effective way to quit smoking.”
Dr William Green, Head of Psychiatric Dept, Matilda Hospital, Hong Kong
“It is a remarkable fact that Allen Carr, on his own admission a non-professional in behaviour modification, should have succeeded where countless psychologists and psychiatrists holding postgraduate qualifications have failed, in formulating a simple and effective way to stop smoking.”
Dr Martin Jarvis, Principle Scientist, Imperial Cancer Research
Fund and Reader in Health Psychology, University College London
”...I am more than happy to testify to Allen Carr’s enduring involvement and to recognise the value of the kind of behavioural and cognitive support he provides.”
Dr PM Bray MB CH.b., MRCGP
“I was really impressed by the method. In spite of the Allen Carr organisation’s success and fame, there were no gimmicks and the professional approach was something a GP could readily respect. I would be happy to give a medical endorsement of the method to anyone.”
Celebrity Endorsements
-His method is absolutely unique, removing the dependence on cigarettes, while you are actually smoking. I’m pleased to say it has worked for many of my friends and staff.”
Sir Richard Branson
“Some friends of mine who had stopped using Allen Carr’s method suggested I tried it. I did. It was such a revelation that instantly I was freed from my addiction. Like those friends of mine, I found it not only easy but unbelievably enjoyable to stay stopped.”

hey everyone. Im 15 and i started smoking a few weeks ago. Its been on 5 weeks and im addicted to smoking. I have this feeling that i want to smoke really badly. and if i dont. i get this strange feeling.
How can i stop smoking?
Its too addictive. and i cant just go in a shop and buy some anti smoking patches...
help?First thing to try is setting a quit date and throwing away all your cigarettes. You-ll have a terrible urge to smoke which hits its peak at 3 to 5 days, when all the nicotine has left your system. Don-t give in, because if you slip up, you-ll lose all the work you-ve put into it. Expect to have cravings, be grouchy, have a hard time focusing, etc.
If that doesn-t work, you-re going to have to get some nicotine replacement products. You can confess to your parents, or if you won-t do that, go to see your doctor -- he can write you a prescription in confidence. Even without a prescription, you can probably get them at a drugstore or supermarket -- strictly speaking, they aren-t supposed to be sold to kids without a prescription, but chances are they won-t know or care, if you ask, just say you-re getting them for your mom. Or you can order them online. You don-t say how much you smoke, but folow the manufacturer-s guidelines. The Commit lozenges are better than the gum is better than the patches, particularly for a teen who doesn-t smoke all day -- you don-t want to make your habit *worse,* which could happen if a patch is feeding nicotine into you at a time when you don-t usually smoke. If the lozenges don-t work, you will need to talk to your doctor about Chantix, which is the most effective med but requires a prescription and medical supervision.talk to somebody about it , i dont think that you are addicted though yet i mean as you say its only been 5 weeks , there should be nhs support groups around where you live locally they are drop in centres that give tou support on how to quit . also you wont get into trouble or they wont judge you on your age .good luck.You-re legally allowed to buy those patches or chewing gum, who cares what the people in the store think of you - better that than lung cancer bro.
If you-re still too embarrassed to do that - cold turkey. No, you don-t really want to stop smoking otherwise you wouldn-t have started or continued, you just know that it is bad to do and you THINK that you should quit, JUST STOP LIGHTING THE DAMN CIGARETTE!15 years of age. Addicted to smoking? -
How Do I Get Her To Stop? -
How Do I Get Her To Stop? -
I have horrible asthma and when I-m in a place where someone has been smoking or is smoking my throat starts burning and I start wheezing. The problem is, my mom started smoking recently. Nobody that lives with me has smoked all my life and my mom used to be very strict about other people smoking near me. But now, she does herself. I tell her to stop smoking near me but she doesn-t seem to care. She even allows her friends to smoke in our house. I know smoking is her personal choice, but how to I get her to stop doing it around me?
WOW.
I think she has some sort of problem to smoke around her kid, when she knows it is such a problem. I mean she is risking your life, and she doesnt care.
Sit her down, you have to. Ask her why she doesnt care anymore, and ask her -WHAT IF- something bad does happen some day and i die from this, would you care. And if her answer is no and she still does it, I think you should stay with friends or other family. You should ask her to stop smoking around you and remind her of the issue of your asthma. Try to explain that it really bugs you when she smokes inside and when she allows her friends to do the same. Yes smoking is her choice, that doesn-t mean she has to force it upon you. If it is that big of a deal you might try to step outside, but I don-t think its fair for YOU to have to go outside. I hope this helps you some, best of luck to you :)Just talk to her about, that it-s becoming very hard to breath or even be around you, ask her if she has the urge to smoke she can do it outside instead of inside. If she really loves you she would listen instead of being a retarded mom. :DWhat you do is when she-s smoking around you and you to are alone, do your regular wheezing, but a little more then pretend to pass out on the floor, she-ll take you to the hospital and the doctor will tell her its harming you and her.First of all; in my opinion thats messed up.
But just get all serious and tell her she can not do that! maybe buy her a new ashtray and ask her to do it outside. seriosly its not a big deal to walk a few steps out the door.I am so sorry i feel bad but every time she smokes just go some where, where she isn-t around or step outside if you need to get some fresh air or talk to your dad about this.look up all the bad things about smoking and she will feel guilt and try to stop then suggest using patches that help to stop smoking
I really think the best thing you could do is just leave
when shes doing that around youask her to stop. also, go outside when she doesmaybe she started smoking to get you to move outgeesh, I don-t know, sorry kid.
if I think of something I will come back to answertell her again, or walk away if she dosen-t respond. How Do I Get Her To Stop? -
