How much does an electric cigarette cost? -

How much does an electric cigarette cost? -

my mom wants to stop smoking and heard that those fake electric cigarettes can help you get through the process. does anyone know how much they cost?Short Answer: A starter kit should NOT cost more than $50.
Long Answer: The electronic cigarette comes in three parts. To buy each part separately, it-d cost about $26, but you-ll need a charger for the battery, and you really need a second battery and maybe a second atomizer... basically you need enough parts for two e-cigs, because something always needs charging, and if a part goes bad, you have to wait for shipping of a new part, so you want a backup so you don-t buy regular cigarettes while you wait for replacement parts to arrive in the mail. So the easiest thing to do when starting is to get the Starter Kit; most come with enough parts to make 2 e-cigarettes.
Don-t spend more than $50 for a starter kit, don-t sign up for a trial period of anything. It should be cut and dry when buying supplies. I suggest buying from awesomevapor.com and also go to www.vapevideos.com to learn how to use an electronic cigarette and tips on getting the most for your money. I suggest the Joye 510, my favorite e-cig, and a friendly unit for people switching over from regular cigarettes. Avoid the models that are bulky, look like big pens, cigars, pipes, or have whistle-shaped tips if the person smokes regular cigarettes. Joye 510, $50.

How is this going to affect me in the future? Here is the thing with Beepers smoking pot... While pot is not, in itself, addictive, the feeling that a beeper gets is different from the feeling that a normal person gets when they smoke it. It may make you feel like you are better able to function, esp when manic, when it is really making the mood worse and making it last longer. I believe you when you say that you can-t stop... because you are addicted to the way it makes you feel... I am bipolar, and I have smoked pot... In fact, I smoked alot of pot for about 6 months, maybe more... I was manic, with occasional dips into depression the entire time I smoked weed. This was because the pot was keeping me manic... while I felt that it was evening out the moods, and making me feel less hyper, it was really just making it worse and worse, keeping me from a normal mood. If I had been depressed, it would have just kept me in a depression... Imagine it this way... you smoke a joint... it is kindof like smoking that joint hits a pause button on your mood... not your life, just your mood. as soon as you aren-t high anymore, you go right back to the mood you were already in... the longer you smoke it, the longer you put off cycling back into a normal mood... and when you get depressed while you are smoking, you get really depressed... like, first thing you want to do is kill yourself. smoking again may make it go away for a while, but when you aren-t high anymore, you are right back there, in fact, probably even lower than before... I am telling you this both from experience and also from what my doctor has told me. See, I had a discussion with my doc on why they don-t legalize pot as a treatment for bipolar... after he told me it was like pushing pause on your mood, I recognized my mood patern when I smoked for what it was. if you need to get help to stop smoking it, then get help... there are lots of way to stop... I wont tell you that you won-t want to, that you won-t yearn to smoke it, but that you can stop, and you should. I love smoking pot, I wish I could smoke it everyday; but for my bipolar to be anything near controlled, I cannot. So I stay away from it. I don-t hang around people who do it either, because as soon as they mention it, I am all for it... If you have to, move. Just do it for yourself... because you will never be able to control your bp at all if you don-t stop. now that that-s done... send me your left overs, ok? no, jk... good luck... try to be strong... you will need to be.Thanks so much...your comments were much needed...You said everything I feel currently. You summarized my sentiments perfectly...it lets me know im not crazy

your penis or vagina will fall off.....straight off.I-m also bi-polar and I used to smoke weed constantly as well. Personally, I think that I liked it because it numbed out all of the crazy emotions that we go through with this mental illness. The problem is that it can mess with your medication and it can also make your symptoms worse.
Since you-re bi-polar you need to be very aware of your emotions so you can tell when you-re becoming manic or depressed. Weed hinders your ability to keep it under control. It may also be easier for you to get addicted to other drugs that are much more dangerous. You are addicted you should contact a clinic or a therapist to help you rid the addiction.Join N.O.R.M.L

Bi-polar disorder goes hand in had with taking risks whether they may harm you or not. It-s easier for people diagnosed with bi-polar to get addicted to drugs and unprotected sex, and promiscuous lifestyles. Here is a great website I found skip the black print and go to the blue print, it-s a story about a man who is now in his forty-s that used cannabis as his only way to get away from his disorder.

Here is another article that is very interesting:

it can make u more sick. go to www.stopsmokingherbs.com and talk to me man i am here dogmicjoe@yahoo.com. i am also bipolarWow sarah is not very well educated on THC, weed cannot kill very quickly maybe if you were smoking a quarter a day for your whole life then you-d be fried and have lung problems and then die but go easy on that **** man it can ruin your relationships and people will find you not the same anymoreomg stop smoking it right now!!that stuff can kill you so fast!!It won-t you-ll be to damn high to do anything.I think it-s more of a mental BLOCK than anything. Just get passed the fact that some professional said something was up with you, and understand that everyone-s got something wrong with them, including myself.

Just learn to kick hte habit, because it-s not good for you, or anyone else. You-re going to end up in jail, and have probably dragged along some friends with you. YOu should really consider quitting before you give up on it.

Good luck, you-ll be a good role model to many.well for one... youll pe paranoid all your life. try doing something productive... like paint or read a book. being bi polar has nothing to do with smoking marijuana. and you cant say your addicted to it either.I am bipolar and I struggle without meds. I have to adjust my aura by other means. It is hard sometimes because friends and family are the creators of depression. Knowing how the chemicals released when the brain has to erase a bad expectation does prepare me for the few bad times I still have. I try to control changes to come slowly so I can get rid of the painful chemical action on my lower brain. I guess if i lived with pot people I would do pot too.It may create schizophrenia.you aint goin no where but jailur asking the question so u know it will affect u in some way....isn-t that enough......what is this, i-ll **** with my mind, but only a bit?Your self medicating, Depends on how much you smoke, You may get a really sever case of paranoia. Not easy to deal with. Other then that I expect you feel it mellows out the highs . It not the best idea in the world but I do know that it-s a hard habit to quite. You might want to check the internet to see how it mixes with meds you might be prescribed for the Bi-polor. Some time they counter act one another. I-m not going to tell you to quit, That is up to you. Only you can change it, if you want to.woah dude we have the same probalems lol we should hang out... oh and my guesstament is that were screwed. Its definately going to effect your bi-polar condition in a negative way. Marijuana may make you feel good and lead you into believing that it is helping you when in fact you are getting worse. It will increase your depression and lead to more and worse mood swings. Stop doing it ASAP, my brother went through the same exact thing.Hmm, it will make you mellow, but you will become more and more dependent on smoking. Before you know it you won-t be able to function without a hit or two, just one more hit you-ll start to say. Pretty soon you-ll forgo buying the simplest items, such as milk or bread just to get a good high. You-ll forget meetings, miss appointments, and stop having as much fun as you used to. After that, you-ll probably lose interest in most of the things that used to make you happy. Who knows, maybe your cravings will make you desperate to the point that maybe you-ll start -borrowing- money from friends and family, with intention of paying it back, of course, but every time you have extra cash you-ll think -Man, I could buy an ounce. It will last me awhile. Then I-ll quit-. Now I may be way off, but I-ve seen this happen many times. It is your life, your decision, but think about what it is you really want.dose it help with ur anger if so i should tr itYou-re alright man it-s normal...everyone is a little crazy..and almost everyone smokes weed if they don-t then they just get drunk...Not can-t. Won-t. At least be honest. It-s going to screw up your short term memory in a major way. You know perfectly well there are better medications for your condition than this.Move to amsterdam and you will do just fine.it may cause paranoia

or even schizophreniaI-m bipolar and I don-t want to stop smoking marijuana. It really seems to help and smoothe out life-s ups and downs...you know what I mean. Personally, I found it to work better than lithium or depakote. But then again, I-m not a doctor.

i quit smoking saturday how much more longer will it take for the craving to go away they are not as bad as the second or third day way but the cravings are still attacking me what can i do to make these cravings less serious i dont want to smoke any more but i am afraid i might kneel down to these cravings help by the way i am doinfg this cold turkey i was a 30 yr smoker.I-m on my 3rd day of not smoking and asked a similar question. Lots of people gave some good advice. Whenever I feel the urge, I-m going to read my answers. good luck.the cravings will get farther and farther apart. I quit 5 and 1/2 years ago. First I counted hours, then days, then weeks , months and now years. It gets easier and easier. You-ll notice you-re breathing easier in a bout a month. its a great feeling believe me. When the craving comes, walk outside and take a fresh stick of gum with you. Breathe deep ten times, count the breaths, the craving will pass in about 5 to 7 minutes . Hang in there. its one of the hardest things you;ll ever do but you won;t regret it ...its worth it believe me. You deserve it!First off congrats on quiting.

Second. Remember you are quiting a 30 year habbit. It will take some time for you to get rid of the cravings.

Try putting a hard tack candy in your mouth when you get the cravings or drinking a glass of grapefurit juice.Hip hip hooray !!!!!! Three cheers !!!!! wish I could do the same but I smoke da chronic and I luv dat **** !!!!Let-s fight this monster together. It is very hard to quit. The only way is to keep fighting. I have a quitting buddy. He used to smoke every 20 minutes. Then he got told he had mouth cancer in July. So we quit the same day. There are Help lines like Quitline that will be helpful to you, also your GP might be able to help you with the cravings. Try nicotine patches, you-ll probably be able to get them at the pharmacies and call a Quitline.congratsI use to smoke for over 23 years. I tried to quit over and over again, but I kept failing. I even quit for 4 months when I sat in jail, but I started back up when things went wrong which was only 2 days later. I was so hard up that when I was homeless, I was smoking the cigarette butts out of the gutters! The only way I quit was when I received the baptism of the Holy Ghost over 7 years ago. I prayed in tongues and the desire went away as if I never smoked in my life! I went over 2 months without a single urge! Then when I did, I talked to the tobaco in my ash tray. I said to them, the nicotine demons, -If you want to mess with Jesus, come on!- Then the urge went away quickly! I did not get delivered from ciggs until 3 days after I asked for the Holy Ghost. That was when I started praying in tongues! Now I pray in tongues everyday because there is power in this gift! The Bible says so, but I did not believe the Bible until God entered my body! The very next day, God sent me a good wife also! We got married 3 months later and I have never been happier! God now answers my prayers and my life has never been so exciting. I see miracles happening all around me and I never feel alone. God also delivered me from depression, drugs, and alcohol in that very same night! He has given me dreams and visions and I can now hear His voice and know His thoughts! My whole life has changed since the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and that is why I am telling everyone what has happened to me. I wish someone had told me about this before I wrecked my life! I pray that God will deliver you too! Please give Him all the glory when He does!

Sincerely Yours, Pastor Jeff Ludin, A Friend Of Godit will take awhile and buy some nicotine patches that can help you stop smoking. and live one day at a time and put one foot in front of the other and if you fall pick yourself up and dust yourself off and continue that path of quit smoking. The first month is the hardest.

The first week is excurtiating.

After that it-s general stress. If you lose your job or girl/boyfriend expect to walk 1,000 miles for a smoke. There is a lot of anecdotal available to us to suggest that many smokers can quit without a problem.

I-m fairly certain that those who quit -easily- do so because they have gone to the effort of changing their belief systems.

Do you know somebody who is always dieting? Does that person always cheat with a Mars Bar? They have no *reason* to eat the Mars Bar. It will not change their lives, and it destroys their diet. Yet they still eat it. Why? Two reasons -- firstly, it gives the effect of a mild drug. Secondly, their belief systems dictate that they must have the Mars Bar to feel good.

Smoking isn-t too different. If you just quit -cold turkey-, then you-re going to feel like you-re sacrificing something you like. The mental urges will become increasingly strong, and it is a hard process to get through.

If I were you, I would sit down with a pen and paper and make a list of all the reasons why you WANT to smoke, and then write a short answer by each reason as to why the reason is a load of rubbish! You need to debunk the reasons you want to smoke. You lived a perfectly happy and sane life before you started smoking, so why do you need a cigarette now? Think about it. It-s just your mind playing games with you.Man I am never gonna start smoking. My husband gave up smoking in 92 and he says he still thinks about it. Three years after he quit we were out and a friend who smokes offered him a cigarette and he started smoking it without thinking.
It is a power habit as you know, try chewing gum or sucking on lollipops. Good luck.Good for you!! I quit cold turket a long time ago and am so happy that I did and wouldn-t think of smoking again. I must be weird because when I quit, I didn-t have cravings. Other people I know who have quit did but they went away eventually. What worked best for them was to get something elso to do with their hande when they had the urge to smoke or chew gum. Something to distract the mind.why dont u try to get nicotine patchesCongratulations on quitting. It takes a lot to do that. My daughter just quit 5 weeks ago and she went the first week cold turkey but then she got a drug called Wellbutrin which really helped her control the occasional cravings. Her doctor suggested she be on it for a minimum of 4 weeks and maybe as long as 12 weeks. She is on her fourth week now and feels that she will be able to stop the drug at the end of this week. What you need is what every smoker trying to quit needs but normally doesn-t get; effective support to get you through those urges and keep you from lighting up. They will lessen with time but they will always keep coming back sometimes even years later. Quitting success is not based on the personal strengths of the individual but rather on whether that quitting smoker reaches out for effective support. Without effective support your chances at succeeding are less then 5%. And using family and friends is generally not an effective form of support. There are many avenues available to get the support you need which will work with your lifestyle. It is simply a matter of choosing one and using it. Our company is involved in offering a support program for quitting smokers but don-t let that negate the message. Check out any major health organization site and they will tell you the same thing. With odds of less than 5% without support don-t risk your efforts to trying to go it alone. Assure you quitting success easier and forever just by reaching out for help.Congratulations! You are on the right path. As time goes along the cravings do get less, say about 2 weeks. When you get a craving find something else to do, something to keep your hands and mouth busy. eat a piece of celery or a fruit. The craving only lasts for about 5 minutes or so and if you can get through that you-re all set. I smoked for 35 years and stopped 4 years ago. I still sometimes get the urge but not very often. I always think about the smell (yuck) and how expensive cigarettes are and my grandchildren. I want to be here to see them grow up. I-m rooting for you!Check out this website - Trust me you won-t want to start up again - It is pretty disturbing
