How can I help my boyfriend to stop smoking? -
he is only going to stop if he wants to. there is nothing you can do. ultimatums SUCK! (stop smoking or i wont have sex with you etc.). you can try positive re-enforcement. i tried.....hey each time you crave a smoke...come see me etc. that worked much better than ultimatums....but he will stop when he wants. but you can say please don-t smoke inside the house etc or around me. i don-t like the smell...its killin- me quicker by second hand smoke etc. but in the nutshell....he has to stop on his own.my fiance (now husband) stopped....but he did it on his own and i was there for support.
be patient :) its not easy.That-s very true. My girlfriend smokes and I don-t like it but I don-t hammer her on it. I tried getting on her about it and it led to resentment and trouble. I backed off and told her that I would support her when she does decide to stop but I no longer hound her on it.

Unless he wants to stop....it-s not up to you. Must come from him, there are excellent meds out there may require the help of a doctor. (he may be moody when he stops)Cut him off from you know what until he stops!he-ll only stop when he wants to, just support him and give advice about all the remedies out there.you can show him groooooooooose pictures of people that died from lung cancer!!!
scare him to quit, or give him an altimatum!! quit smokin or im gettin pregnant!! :PContact your local LDS (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) missionaries. They have a great smoking cessation program.shock therapytell him not to fight it
