How can i convince my friend to stop smoking? -
My friend has been smoking since she was 9 (i think its because her dad smokes like crazy) and shes 14 now and she smokes like half a pack a day and i keep on telling her its REALLY not good.Also our and friends- dad has pneumonia from smoking a lot from a young age too and they both know this and still do it like crazy.
I-m not saying shes GOING to die from any kind smoke related problems indefinitely, but you never know, especially the way shes doing it now.
How can i convince her (if i can) to stop smoking or at least smoke less?Nagging her probably won-t help. She should see that smoking isn-t beneficial for herself - people have to want to quit to really quit. Her chances of being a nonsmoking adult are much better the earlier she quits.. which means she-s less likely to suffer any related problems.
Talk to her about the noticeable stuff. Does her hair smell bad? Her clothes? Maybe her teeth are yellow or she is still quite short? Whatever will get through to her. Smoking is also linked to acne.tell her smoking causes lung cancer and she-s gona die REALLY soon or give cancer to her kids
